Touring and Logistical Questions

Hi All! We've been to Universal a few times before....this will be our first visit to WWoHP Universal side ...and I have a few questions.

The trip is primarily a WDW trip this time. We will be traveling over to Universal on December 29...staying for one night at RPR, arriving around 5 pm. We don't plan on going into the parks on the 29th, but will make a full day of it on the 30th.

We have one member of our party who will be arriving at RPR very late...around midnight. Obviously we are doing this so that we can have express passes for the day we tour. Although the rest of us will check in, will there be any problem with the late traveler getting their photo express pass that night and not the next morning?

My second question is that our focus is on doing Gringotts....everything else is after that. What would our best strategy be? Should we head to Universal directly....do Gringotts and then whatever we choose OR IF IoA is on early entry and Universal is not....should be got to IoA at early entry and get in line for Hogwarts express and go over to Universal to do Gringotts?

There is a kiosk in the lobby of the RPR where express passes are made. Shouldn't be an issue.

Gringotts has been working really well and capacity is high right now. During the Christmas break, I would assume that both parks will be open for early entry. Since you only have one day, I would go directly to Diagon and hop in line for Gringotts.
