Hi everyone!

First off, I want to say that this board is the best! Everyone is extremeley helpful and I have been able to gather enormous amounts of info.

My family (wife, 2 boys-10) is going to be in Orlando from June 1 - 8. We plan on visiting US and IOA during the stay. We have been to both 4x previously, but not since Harry Potter or Rip Ride Rockit opened. We do not plan on staying onsite and will not have early access.

I'm sure my questions have been answered many times before, but, I'd love any insight/help :

1. What day(s) would be the best?

2. How early can I get there without 'early access'?

3. For IOA - I see that most recommend going to HP first. If so, do we do Fj and then leave to ride other rides in the park or do we stay and do everything possible there?

4. For US - do we go to RRR first then everything else?

Any other tricks?

Thanks again.

Sunday is the best day. Get there by 8:15. Do all of WW first that you want to do. Yes, do RRR first.

Early June is a good time to go.

Thank you.

We have a day planned for IOA and a day planned for US.

What day would you recommend for each?

i would plan a weekday for the parks.
tues and wed are great days.

that looks like the end of your vacation time in orlando.

weekends are always busy......

get in line for ioa around 7:30-45.
once the early entry people are let in by 8, you will be ahead of the line then.

chances are you will be let in before 9 if crowds are low that day.

do parry hotter land first.
i'm not his fan but i do that area and find the rides fun.

hit FJ, DD and the hippo ride.
what is left are a few shows for PH and shops.

buy frozen butterbear for the heck of it.
just to say you have tried it.

once you are done with this section of IOA, go thru the back portion of the park before you loop forward.

my time in this section of parry hotter is usually about one full hour.
but, i do stay onsite 8 days and repeat the early entry for the FJ ride.

if you are into water rides, bring a change of clothes to store in a locker.
(or wear wet/dri clothes and boat shoes.)
hit marvel land and seuss land.
both are big hits.
something for everyone there.

when you do the studio side, do RRR first.
some of the rides on that side stagger on their opening time.
jaws is one of them.

hit the rides that have themes.
you might not be familar with the story line but they are easy to follow and understand.
MIB
ET
Simpson
Mummy
Shrek, etc.

take a pizza break at Louies.
or get a table at Finnegans for a late lunch.

great...thanks

so, i assume the days to definitely avoid are Monday and Saturday

I've heard now that Sunday, Tues, Wed are good....

what about Thu/Fri?

I'm not sure about Fridays in early June, but Fridays in May can be absolutely insane with school groups doing their grad trips.
