Has anyone used Tour Guide Mike.com and how was your experience? I am looking at mousesavers.com, allearsnet.com, themouseforless.com and ticketmania.com, is there any other websites you have found helpful in planning a trip WDW? Thank you in advance.:earsboy:  :wave2: :hyper: :sunny:

We purchased this, and at first I was excited. However, it took a lot of time to go through things. There is a lot of information missing. There wasn't enough there that I couldn't find here. There were a couple tips that are good for eating and touring, but I'd never buy it again.

I paid for Tourguidemike
I think it was 19.99 or something like that.

I thought it was VERY worth it. It indeed is packed full of information and you will need days and days to sift through it all and make sense of it all.

I found lots of tips and information that I didn't find here or anywhere else.. And lots of info I found here or other places was better explained in greater detail at tourguidemikes

Since it was only about 20.00 it wasn't a great deal of money and really has been worth the money for me.

I *loved* the TGM website and have already re-upped with him for my next trip. There has been a thread about this on the Disney Tips board recently. His tips and plans were right on the money and we had a wonderful trip during the busy summer season.

I too bought it about a month ago for our upcoming trip. I am on the fence...Good information if you are a relative newcomer to WDW planning. I find the site rather complex to navigate (I am blonde) But if you have tons of time this would be a good way to spend it!
Not sure if I would purchase again although in the scheme of things it is cheap!

Love TGM. Very detailed info, personalized vacation planner too. Somewhat difficult to navigate but it's a little easier now. It's not something you want to rush through. It's great for a lazy Sunday afternoon when you have nothing to do but Disney trip planning. I'd recommend it because I've found info on touring that I haven't seen anywhere else and from what I've heard from those that followed his guide, it makes for a less stressful trip. I use it in conjunction with the Dis and my trusty Passporter.:D

I'd highly recommend TGM!

Even if you've been to WDW a few times before, he has "alot" of information on the site.

Yes it will take considerable time to navigate through it all, but you can put your trip together piece by piece, customized just for your groups likes and dislikes.

He knows of what he speaks, and he updates all the time, so unlike a guide book his info is current, and his tips are dependable.

He helped make our last trip much more memorable, as we were able to use many of his tips to save time, and see many more attractions than we would have on our own.

But if you do use TGM, use it in conjunction with all the other sources of info out there. That way you'll get a balanced perspective.

Happy planning!

I used TGM. I used it when it first came out and a lot of info was missing. I have heard since then, it has gotten more info. I think that if you are person that needs to be reminded to make your PS's dont quite get the "rules" of EMH and when to go to the parks and not to go to the parks. Use it!

I am not sure if I would ever buy it again. I might, if there was a way I could add emails to my itinerary. If I could keep everyone in the loop, that would be better...maybe I should suggest it to him.

I also ordered TGM (used for last 5 months of planning) for my last vacation in Nov. 2003. He is still adding/building the site but there is a ton of information there (plenty of reading and surfing to do). If you haven't been to WDW often, I would encourage you to join for vacation planning. If your a vet and visit often, you probably won't find too much information that you didn't already know from prior visits or surfing this site.

I have been to WDW many times and I joined to see what info. is available. I did learn a few new things but if I was to go back next year then I probably wouldn't order the service. However, I probably would order the service after another 3 to 5 years would pass just to get updates on what has really changed as for visiting the parks and setting PS ressie.

Hope this helps. Also if you do decide to join, check with mousesavers before joining because she usually offers a discount through her service. I think I paid $17.95 back in May of 2003.

I used TGM for a trip in September 2003 and I would not do it again. It was a wasted expese for me. I had a Passporter ad the Onofficial Guide to WDW and I am a constant Dis lurker and for me there was nothing new there. And it is way to cumbersome to navigate and print stuff. I say buy a book and read the boards.
