I ran across their service last night..

Has anybody used it before? Is it worth it?

I'm currently using it. If you have the money to spend on it, I say go for it. I helps those of us who are less than organized to stay organized. Plus, your subscription lasts from the time you pay until something like 2 weeks after your WDW trip (you have to enter your trip dates when you apply). Hope that helps.

I have a subscription with tourguidemike.com as well. Bought it months ago, I leave for DisneyWorld in 5 days, and I'm surprised at how little I actually used the Vacation Planner from tourguidemike.

Keep in mind that Mike, who created the website, use to be a tourguide for DisneyWorld. That's where his expertise is, and the only thing you're really paying for. All the other information he gives, you can view on other websites for free.

If you have no idea what parks to visit on certain days, or don't know where the best view is for fireworks in Magic Kingdom and Epcot, then I'd say buy the vacation planner.

If you don't know what PS arragements are, or need other basic information simular to that, then visit these websites:

www.wdwig.com
disboards (You already know!)
www.disneyworld.com
www.mousesavers.com (One of my favorites! Lets you know when Disney comes out with discounted packages, or hotel discounts.)
www.ticketmania.com (sells discounted DisneyWorld theme park tickets)

Hope this helps,

I've been using these boards and I bought a couple of guidebooks that the good people on the boards recomended. I bought a general guide book and then one for couples. My thought is the guidebooks will be good for when I can't be on the boards like when I'm inline at WDW!

I'm using tourguidemike right now for our holiday trip. I can honestly say it is WORTH it. I am a WDW vet and still learned alot from this guys expertise. His take on holiday touring makes sense.

I love Tourguide Mike's info. The planning part (where to stay, where to eat, etc.) you can get just about anywhere on line. But the itenararies are great! We didn't spend more than 15 mins in line the week before Memorial Day and we spent that time because we didn't sprint to the Dumbos. We ate at CRT first.

Click on the Tourguide Mike icon on the Disneydollarless.com page and it'll have my testimonial about how Tourguide Mike made our trip.

This is my third trip to Disney and I am a newbie!
I found the tips great and would rather have it organized for me on the WWW than read a book. You can get discount codes from mousesaver's or disney dollarless from time to time so if you can wait and see.

I got tourguidemike months ago. I have been to WDW many times since it first opened in 71 (my 1st trip was 74) and I honestly can say there is information there I didn't know about! Yes, I knew what days which park was least crowded but honestly, without the planner, I could not tell you which TIME of day which attraction is least crowded! The planner is good now til 60 days after your return. I got it so long ago, that by the time my trip comes, it is costing me less than a dollar a month! :teeth: I probably lose more change than that in the bottom of my purse!! :bounce:
