Tour of Bridge

When you get on the ship there is information in the Navigator about booking a Bridge Tour. We were on the Wonder and I think I booked ours at the shore excursion desk when we got on board.

Yes, at the Shore Excursion desk you can get tickets for a certain time. They do them on days in port.

Does anyone know how much this cost and what this tour includes? pirate:

The tour is free, and can be booked at the shore excursion desk. It lasts about 30 minutes, and the tour consists of a guide escorting you to the bridge where you can see where the captain and crew operate the ship. It's a pretty informative tour and you can ask questions at the end. It states in the navigator that you need to be 18 years of age to take the tour, but there were some people that brought their kids. They allow you to take pictures, but no video cameras are allowed.

We booked the very last tour possible. Then there was activity with some of the crew because they were starting to go through the check list to depart from the port in St. Thomas!

We asked at the desk if the tour was for 18 years and over and were told, no only the galley tour is adults only.

Our bridge tour was interesting...while we were there some alarm started going off! The tour guide said "Uh...that's not a very good sound." Everyone kind of laughed nervously as he went to investigate. Turned out there was smoke alarm going off in someone's room somewhere and they sent someone down to investigate (if an alarm goes off anywhere on the ship it also sounds on the bridge) I guess everything was fine because we heard no more about it.

Just so you know, you actually overlook the bridge while standing on a walkway. The tour guide is down below you. where the crew normally are, pointing out the different instruments.
