IS TOUR GUIDE MIKE REALLY WORTH THE MONEY? I HAVE BEEN TO WDW MANY TIMES BUT I JUST WANT TO BE SURE I HAVE THE BEST TIMES FOR MY DINING RESERVATIONS. I WANT TO USE ALL OF MY DINING PLAN AND EAT AT THE LEAST CROWDED TIMES.

I had purchased the Unofficial Guide, and just thought I NEEDED Tour Guide Mike as well.

I ended up not findinng TGM to be any more helpful that UG, and I was sick about spending the money. So I emailed TGM, asking for a refund, and I got one.

I think there definitely is such a thing as TOO MUCH INFORMATION. I think that you can get lots of VERY helpful info right here on the boards. Try asking about your dining reservations in the appropriate thread. I think you'll get lots of great advice.

I guess everyone's experiences are different. I know of several people that say it wasn't worth it and several that have said it is. I tried it out this past December and really liked it. I think it is pretty cheap considering that you can go on there for particular days and find out what parks are the most optimal to tour in etc. I reordered and got it for this November. I am sure that I will definitely use it for next summer. This is just one opinion as I know there are thousands on here.

I don't know if he's worth the money just for ADR times. We had 6 trips under our belt (all during relatively slow seasons) before I subscribed to TGM for help with a trip during a busy season. I found he was DEFINATELY worth the money - he brings up a lot of stuff I never really thought of with the Unofficial Guide.

We used Tour Guide Mike last trip and I loved it. Using it again for next trip. It is a bit overwhelming- I wouldn't consider it unless you have several months before your trip- and if the ONLY thing you want it for is ADR times...probably not worth it. We used it to figure out which parks to visit, and strategies for touring once we were there...but we made our ADR's whenver we could get them/wanted to eat.

Another thumbs up for TGM! I subscribe for the Least Crowded Parks Charts (LCPCs) alone.

I also love TGM and think it was well worth the money. It's really not that much, the price of some Disney books out there. It really helped us on our trip this July. Would definetely suggest TGM.

We just went back to WDW for the second time this year and we did not use TGM. We actually just walked up to the restraunts and were able to get in immediately. We went to the parks we wanted and just got fastpasses for the busy rides. We don't over plan, we just go with the flow... it's different strokes for different folks. I think there is enough information onthis site that TGM may be overkill.

I personally LOVE TGMike....he knows what he's talking about and we've used him for our last 2 trips and we're using him again for this next trip and well I plan on staying a subscriber from here on out....I wouldn't dream of planning a trip w/out him! Best $21 I've ever spent! And he's always updating things and it's to me, just a good general site to have access to.

I haven't taken my trip yet, but have subscribed to TGM, and so far I'm LOVING it! I've read UOG cover to cover and TGM brings up things I didn't get from here or UOG. Also, if you use the link from the DIS, you get $3 off, so it was only $18 for me, less than the price of some Disney books!

TGM is the best money I have spent ever for a WDW vacation. Yes some tips are repeated in several books, but then the tips he does share - that no one else does (touring plans etc) are invalable.
