:wave2: Hi all
Has anyone used Tour Guide Mike ?
How did you find his info and was it worth the price
Does the automated vacation planner work?
Any comments appreciated
thanks

I wont travel without referring to TGM! HOWEVER, I do think his site is difficult to navigate and much of the info you can find elsewhere.

I buy it completely and only for the which days, which parks bit which i find invaluable. I cant believe the difference it makes when you follow it.

If you are a Disney novice then you will find all his info useful I am sure.. its very up to date with it being online. We are disney veterans so we know a lot of it already, although there are always some pages that I print off and take with me.

Hope that helps.

Hi
We are currently using tour guide mike and I was impressed, it gives you lots of information at your finger tips I particularly like the reminders!!!!

This is our fifth trip in five years and we have found even more things to do courtesy of this web site

Not bad for a tenner!!!!

He has a money back guarantee - we've always been very pleased and have never used it but others on these boards say that they've received their refund without any hassles.

We love the information and used TGM on our Summer 2005 trip, which was with a big crowd (about 35) who, other than us, had never been to WDW before. We never waited more than 20 minutes for anything.

When it says "automated", it doesn't mean that it creates a touring plan for you - it means that it provides all of the information you need to develope a really good touring plan for yourself. If you want custom touring plans done for you, we used a company on our 2006 trip called Build A Better Mouse Trip (www.buildabettermousetrip.com) and they did a very good job - we were very pleased with the service - they even made our dining reservations and compiled the times, reservation numbers etc. into our touring plans.

The main thing with Tour Guide Mike is to go all the way through the express planner once before you start clicking on any links. People see things that interest and then they click another link, and another and then they are confused. But get a good overview first, then go back and click away to your heart's content.

Also, join the club for the month of your trip - you'll get information about special events, ride closures, etc.

Finally, the forums there are very nice and very helpful so don't hesitate to ask for help if you are having trouble with the site.

Another vote for TGM here. We used him on our trip earlier this yearand it's only because of Mike that we aregoing to go the busiest of all weeks at Christmas :thumbsup2

Another vote from me. Used it last year, no problems. You must follow his advice though.

We made a mistake in AK thinking we wouldn't have a long wait for the safari ride. Big mistake, short queue, but we still waited 25 mins. Didn't follow Mike's advice.
