Hello all,
DH and I are riding in the Tour de Cure June 5, here in Fairbanks, AK.
Our team is the Fairbanks DISers.
Is anyone else riding in a Tour elsewhere? I recall Pete had posting about someone before.
I wasn't sure we would be able to do the tour this year, as we won't have our usually Grandma kidlette care. So we may be having to take them with us this time, if our secondary babysitter can't come through. DD will ride a co-pilot behind DH and DS will ride in a trailer pulled by me. For 21 miles. We are doing the 25k, or what they call the 25k .. it really 33k!
We could use some pixie dust for everyone participating in the ride. We have a lot of smoke in the area, as we have a lot of forest fires burning right now (again, sigh, last year was really bad for smoke - looking to be another bad year). So we are actually hoping for cloudy and a slight rain to help the firefighters with the fires and to keep the smoke down.
