Hello,

Can someone please recommend a good tour operator please? Would like a trip to the beach and a swim with the manatees.
Also after a hotel near universal for the night...

also :rotfl: after the best place to buy Disney tickets. I brought them from Disney last year but have seen some better deals. Just a bit worried they could be a con!

Thanks :goodvibes

I used Viator for New York sightseeing tour but they are just agents selling tours for local companies, you need to try find the local tour op and you can bypass Viator. In Florida we always have a car so never needed one out there.

Hotel near Universal, what date? upto what price?

Don't think I have ever known a UK ticket seller be a con, odd one has sold tickets then gone into administration but that can happen to any company. A good start is Kenny's ticket thread, he lists the most populat UK agents but you will have to click and get the latest prices, it hasn't been updated for a while.

Who did you book the trip through? Reason I ask is that you can add excursions to your trip if you booked through Virgin, so I guess you can through other TAs?

Thanks guys!

As for the hotel, I have managed to find some Universal tickets which include accomodation from the Disney resort area. This would be perfect for us! Has anyone used this before?

Ah thank you I shall check those out. I rarely find much in it tbh but every little saving helps! :goodvibes

We have booked via Ocean Florida and they don't seem to offer excursions. I did use Florida Dolphin tours last year who were fantastic (they helped my partner arrange a proposal whilst we were swimming with the dolphins :flower3: )

Do you want to link to details, never heard of it, are you sure its not timeshare?

Sorry, I mean they have TRANSPORTATION included in the ticket with mears travel. I really ought to proof read before posting.

Sure I found it on this site actually

Ok, I see which you mean now thru DU http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/universal/tickets.htm
Depends how many days you want in Universal.
A 1 day ticket will cost you $138.45 (£86) For that price you can buy a 14 day ticket without transport.
You need to work out best for your family.
