Toughest reservations

We are new BLT owners and will be staying there for 10 days this summer. We found out that only about 10 percent of the BLT studios are standard view, by far most of them are lake view. We have so many other places we want to try in the future, so I was wondering what rooms (looking for studios here) are the toughest to book 7 months or less in advance. And we mostly travel in the summer, June, July, and maybe early August a bit.

I think the concierge studios at AKV are the hardest to book. There are only 5 of them at the max.

True, I forgot I've read quite a bit about how tough these are to book. What are the other tough rooms to get?

BWV & BCV studios, depending upon season...major holidays and Food & Wine fest are always tough to book there. And I would think BLT is tough during Halloween and Christmas because of the seasonal hard ticket parties at MK.

hmm, how tough are the AKL value studios to get? I know they are a bit smaller, but we could stay there for 2 weeks instead of a 9-10 night trip at BLT.

There are only seven BWV grand villas. Plus the OKW GVs go for so fewer points than other GVs, they also go quickly.

Anything at VWL for Nov through Jan because of the holiday decorations.

Any of the Value villas at Jambo House because of their limited number.

The BCV 2BR with 2Q rooms are extremely tough.

Hmmm, I wonder if the standard-view AKV Grand Villa (Villa, singular) will become the toughest room to book when it comes online.

VWL studios in December may all be booked before 7 months.

Whatever the resort or time of year, your best chance is to book or get on the waitlist right at the 7 month mark for non home resort stays.

You can always get lucky. I got a VWL studio last year, Dec 10-15 from a waitlist. It was wonderful.
