Tough choice

Trying to plan PS for trip and I'm struggling. (But, it's so much fun...)

1 dinner at MGM, 5 teens, DH, myself and my parents...Sci Fi or 50's Prime Time? And why?

I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I like Sci-Fi a little better for the food. It might depend on how much everyone would enjoy the Prime Time shenaningans.

If your teens are big eaters, I would go for Prime Time Diner - the chicken dinner comes with a drum stick, a thigh and a hugh breast, plus mashed potatoes and green beans. My mom and I easily split one dinner and were full.

My DS (14) loves going to the 50's Prime Time Cafe. He enjoys teasing the waitstaff by pretending to have his elbows on the table (a big NO NO there). It's also the only time he will eat his green beans. This is because he knows what they will do to him if he doesn't eat them all....they will feed it to him and he would be humiliated!!!!
Love the atmosphere and the staff seems to know who they can "play" with and who would rather not be bothered.
He loves the fried chicken and I love their salmon.

Toss up for me. I liked the food at Prime Time and agree the portions are large, but DH hated the schtick from the waitress. Will not go back again because of it. Ugh.

We ate at Sci Fi last week for the first time and I really liked it. It was a nice change to sit in the dark after walking around in the bright sun. Movies and trailers cracked me up - I would think teens would be entertained. The food was good and great milkshakes too. I liked my burger. My DH had no idea what to expect and he loved sitting in the cars - thought it was cool.

I don't think you can go wrong with either, but that's my two cents. Hope it helps.
