Although we don't do the princess meals anymore. Girls are now in their teens, and very anti princess. We have 2 small Grandsons and now do the other character meals.

Over the years we have done them all. B,L&D My favorite was 1900 Park Fare for dinner, but I think the best princess experience was at Akershus at breakfast.

I agree with most of the post above.
1. Akershaus (Norway)
2. 1900 Park Fare
3. Cinderella Royal Table

Akershaus - We have done breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was basic breakfast foods, and a few specialties. The princess interaction is pretty good. We have seen Mulan, Belle, Jasmine, and Snow White.

1900 Park Fare - We loved this dinner. The food was really good!! The character interaction is the best!! The characters are Cinderella, the Prince, step-mother, and the 2 step-sisters. The characters actually put on little skits around the restaurant. We really enjoyed it!

Cinderella Royal Table - We have done lunch and dinner at CRT. The food it ok. You are greeted by Cinderella downstairs before going into the restaurant. The mice danced around the restaurant, but they don't stop at each table for pictures. Also, Fairy Godmother appears, but doesn't come to your table. I think everyone should visit CRT at least once.

Akershus has the best princess interaction and you can't beat the free picture with Belle. I've never been there for breakfast but the dinner menu is very limited if you're a picky eater.

I agree, 1900 park fare was a bit crowded, but the food is good and you get to see cinderella's entire family.

We haven't been to CRT (yet;)), but enjoyed Akershus SO much! We went for dinner, and the food was great! The princesses were AWESOME! Getting to see Ariel was very important to my dds, so we were pleased she was there. Park Fare was fun, but I wasn't impressed with the food.

We have been to all 3. With that said I have a favorite for B-fast and that is 1900 we love the food and the characters are perfect in the am when it really is not as "wild" or loud as it is at noon and dinner. We did enjoy dinner as the sisters are very entertaining! We have enjoyed dinner as well at 1900 with very good review of the food and characters. This is a much louder time as we have noticed on our past trips.

Our fav Dinner is at Akersus... hands down the food is great and the princess interaction can not be compared to CRT as this one really offers the time for each one to spend time with each table. We have been doing this event for the last 5 years on all trips and report we have never had a bad experience with this one.

We have done CRT for Dinner or maybe it was considered a late lunch, but anyway it was a great location and lots of fun to be in the castle. That would be the end of the great part. The princess were very rushed compared to Akersus and even my dd 5&7 said something. The food is aweful! to waste
2TC is hard when on the DDP u don't really have extra credits. I help lots of people plan trips and always give them the low down. Some have done CRT and all have stated they wish they would have choosen something different. Please note this is only my opinion. Have a great trip!

Akershus gets our vote! Great food, great interaction and variety of characters. 1900 PF dinner was awful. Food was DISGUSTING and the service was even worse. Cinderella there was sweet when we went though...but the food was pukey :(

I've eaten at all three, and would easily pick Akershus. The castle is nice to eat in, but the food and princess selection are both better at Akershus. The only thing I really liked about 1900 Park Fare is the way the step-sisters act.

Of the three I'd go with Akershus. The breakfast is quite nice, with a good selection of fruit and berries on the cold buffet, plus you get the photo package like at CRT but only need to use one credit.

CRT - Too expensive for what you get

1900 Park Fare - Just plain fun with the step-sisters, but is is crowded

Akershus - My boys favorite for princesses! Laid back, not rushed and good food all around with a lot of pricesses to dote over my boys.

Are all the princesses there for CRT or only at breakfast? We haven't been in the past two years, but I thought I heard they changed it.

For a first trip, I think I would choose CRT.

I actually did NOT do that for our girls' first trip, but wish I had. We did Akershus instead. I thought they wouldn't know the difference. Akershus was fun, but they wished they could go inside the Castle. As soon as they saw it they wondered if they could see what was in there. I think CRT would have been more magical. We are doing CRT in March (of course, the windows are blocked GRRRR) because they really want to be inside the Castle. You also want to do CRT while the kids still believe. My 6 year old believes but she's getting to the age where she isn't 100% sure the Princesses are real. I would have liked to have done it when she was a bit younger and 100% convinced that she was seeing THE Cinderella and eating in Cinderella's real castle.

Don't get me wrong - Akershus is great - but I'd pick it for a second trip.

Akershus and 1900 are on our must do. Thaqt being said, I prefer Akershus as I prefer to choose food from a menu as suppose to a buffet. that being said, my girls loved to see all the princesses at Akerhsus but prefer to eat at 1900 as they can eat anything and are not limited to the kids menu.

We also have done all 3. Akershus was okay. The food was a little odd; the kids were not a fan. The princesses were a lot rushed and kind of snarky.
CRT sucked big time! I will never ever do it again. Well, if I'm not paying, maybe. The food was, by far, the worst I've ever eaten. Not just on property, but ever. The food was bad, the service was awful, too. I got to watch our server glare at me from the kitchen because I wasn't ordering (or eating) fast enough. Oh, yeah, and that was my view. I got to look into the kitchen and my husband had a great view of a column. Yippee. Sorry I'm so negative about this, but I was insanely disappointed-especially for the price (or 2 TS credits).
Park Fare was great, though. My boys loved it. There was great character interaction, and the price was much better. I say if you want the picture, bring a camera.

WOW - that is one of the most negative reviews I have heard. You mentioned you have son's - any daughters maybe that would have changed your view.

Anyway - I have been to all 3.

Akershus - LOVED the food - dinner there is great (had dinner here 2 times). They have a wonderful app. bar and the dinner meal options are great. The princess interaction is really great. They take their time with the kids. Your daughters will love it. They get a great photo with Belle.

CRT - We have eaten lunch here 2 times. I would not spend 2 credits but lunch was great. The food was really good. We got a lovely seat by the window overlooking fansty land. We started out our day at BBB. Our daughter loved being made up like a princess and dining in the castle. Our waiter was nice. The princess did move a little faster but still good interaction. I think every little girl dreams of going in the castle. If your daughters are into princesses - it is 1005 worth 2 credits.

Park Fare - (1 dinner). Boring food, nothing special, will not return. I don't think the step sisters and prince are as great as all the princesses. Maybe for older girls but yours are young so I would pass on this one.
