TOTWL private DVC NYE function?

Hi all,

I've just been reading about this years private function at the TOTWL at Bay Lake Tower for DVC members and their guests.

I know it’s not certain to happen next year, but I was wondering, based on this year whether it would be possible to book for a party of 12?

DH and I are both members, and the conditions for this year say you can book for yourself and up to five other guests. We are hoping to stay at BLT (our home resort) for a couple of nights, treating our extended family, as it’s my uncles 60th birthday on New Years Eve, and as none of us want to face the crowds that night, this sounds like the perfect solution!

Do you think my DH and I would be able to both book separately for six people each, or is that ‘breaking the rules’?

My guess is while it’s phrased a member plus 5 guests this event is really just 6 people per membership (with the stipulation 1 has to be a member). This sold out quickly and I expect them to be strict with the rule on guest counts (think similar to Moonlight magic when not staying on property).
