:confused3 We are going to be staying at POR. I'm getting confused at all the different transportation options.

Day 1 - POR to DTD - take a boat, correct?
Day 2 - POR to CM ps for breakfast. Best way is bus?
CM to MK - monorail or walk?
MK to POR - bus
Day 3 - POR to Epcot - bus
Day 4 - POR - MGM - bus
Day 5 - POR - AK - bus
Day 6 - POR to the Car Care Center to pick up rental car - ?????

Is this right or would it be quicker to boat to DTD and then take different Transportation for some of these?

I haven't been to WDW since '92, and stayed off site then, so consider me a virgin.

Thanks
Mary

Downtown Disney is accessible by either boat or bus. All other areas are bus only. Make sure to remember which bus stop you boarded at.

To get to Chef Mickey's, be out at the bus stop no less than 45 minutes prior to your seating time. Board the Magic Kingdom bus, and make sure to let the driver know you are going to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. If they are unable to take you directly, they will refer you to the Monorail or the walking path, both of which take simmilar amounts of time.

To get to the Car Care center, Alamo/National have a free shuttle that will pick you up.

Taking the boat to DTD and then hopping a bus to wherever will be a much longer route unless you have a reason to go to DTD.
