Totally out of my league!! help

I feel like such a novice. I can plan a WDW trip under any set of circumstances, but I have only be to US 2 days ever (1 in 1997- 1 in 1999 both day trips during WDW vacations) and I am throughly confused. We are thinking about adding a few days there in december (early dec before the crowds hit). Where do I start? The website seems useless. Is there any good room/ package discounts for early to mid december? WDW has 30% off during that time. Does US have anything like that running? How do you get there? Shuttle? (We will either go there first and then to WDW or WDW then universal). We will not have a car. We do have AAA.

Just put in your dates and the discounts should come up. Annual pass discounts need the code APH but if you are just staying two days, then that probably isn't going to get you any savings. (rooms are $40.00 cheaper per night during early December with APH but the AP is about $100 more than a two day two park ticket.)

If you want AAA rate, you need to either call Loews directly or AAA directly.

It is generally cheaper to book hotels and tickets separately. Tickets are cheapest through undercovertourist.com

Not sure what you mean by how do you get there? Do you mean from the airport to the hotel? People takes cabs or town cars usually if they don't have a car. You can also take Mears transport.

Universal doesn't run its hotels, Loews does, so you don't have the call one number and do it all type of experience like at Disney.
