Totally O/T but not knowing where to post this

I haven't got a clue where to post this but most of you guys are full of Disney information, so you can redirect me if needed.

I've had a chat with the Uni in Birmingham and they have plenty of vacancies this year for the BA in Tourism and Bus. Managment and they are prepared to accept me in Sept on the basis of prior experience in the trade. The exciting thing is that I have a chance for an internship at WDW for a year as part of the course or in between the BA and the Masters(which I intend to do if I get a good enough degree) The drawback is of course, what do I do with the kids?? Am I allowed to take them with me if I got it or would I have to rely on my parents and their Dads to look after them here in England for a whole year(Can I bear to be parted that long just for a career opportunity?) I know there are plenty of other opportunities for internships over here in the UK - As part of the course I have to spend 5 months working in a student placement anyway, but it's my dream to eventually relocate to either the States, Australia or New Zealand, which is I'm going through this course of study now.

Help!!! Quandary time!

Wow, that does sound exciting. I would see if you can bring the kids with you. If it were me personally I couldn't be separated from my DS for a year if he was under college age. Maybe since Disney is so "kid" oriented they will understand your situation and you will be allowed to take them with you! Then I would say go for it! I'll be curious to hear what happens.

Elise, I don't have any advice for you but I want to wish you luck. I think if there is ANY way possible to bring the kids along with you, then do it. I guess right now you have to decide what the best way to follow your dream is while still being able to spend time with your boys. Sending you loads of pixie dust to help you sort things out! I know the solution will present itself to you and that you will be able to make your dreams come true!!!
