O.K. Here's the story. We are sailing on the January 25, Eastern Cruise. Our TA sent our documents out on December 23, Priority Mail. As of today, we still haven't received them!! I realize that we still have 24 days to go, but what happens if they never show up?

Of course, our TA is out of town and hasn't returned my e-mails!!

What to do?

Thanks,
CoachMinnie

If they were sent out on Dec 23rd Priority Mail, you should have received them by Friday the 27th at the latest. Is there anyone else in you TA's office you can talk to? I'd call, they probably have a tracking number and can try to locate them through USPS. Otherwise, they'll have to get in touch with DCL to have your documents re-issued if they are truly lost. Good luck and enjoy your cruise!!!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
I just got a Priority mail package yesterday that was sent out on the 17th of December!
I wouldn't start to get worried yet. Give the post office another few days (remember, there's no mail tomorrow) and call your TA on Monday to see if they have a tracking or delivery confirmation number thay can give you.

I saw an ABC News report a few months ago where they tested whether Priority Mail was actually faster than regular First Class mail. In several test cases, First Class mail arrived faster than Priority Mail sent from the same origin to the same destination at the same time. The conclusion here is that you shouldn't expect the same reliable service that you would expect from an express delivery company such as FedEx or UPS.

That's a great picture at the bottom of your post...!!!
