My dd6 wants to ride the tot but I am scared of the she is tall enough but will she like it and will it be worth me riding this ride. :confused3

There's a lot of kids her age that ride it and love it. :)

But then again, there are many kids that come off the ride crying. It's dark, and if she is afraid of ghosts then it may be a little scary also. The "dropping" part of the ride is really quick, sometimes it feels as though it is over as soon as it starts.

If she doesn't mind sudden drops and is not afraid of the dark she will love the ride.

I say that when kids want to ride, let them. If they don't, then don't force them. I am sure she knows all about it and you guys ahve talked about it. she will love it. My seven year old daughter loves tot and gets scared on haunted mansion. go figure.

this last trip my two DD's finally worked up the courage to ride this, we then rode it about 4 more times! it's our new favorite must do ride! The theming is incredible, kudos to Disney for making you feel a part of the Hollywood Tower of yesteryear! Kids now want a TOT hotel for real!

I'm hoping my DD6 will want to go on...she won't have any problem with the drops, it's the dark part. DS4 would be all over it, but he most likely won't be tall enough.

I took my four and six year old on (yes they were both tall enough, without lifts or platform sneakers) and they both loved it and are looking foward to it when we go back. I should mention the four year old was the girl she was a little more apprehensive then my six year old, but still very much enjoyed the ride.

So much depends on personality and not age. My 8 year old DD loved it and my 11 year old DS wouldn't go near the place. It was my favorite ride in all 4 parks.

Height requirement is 40in. I've found that more kids tend to be more afraid of the Library sequence (small dark crowded room, lightening, ghost story on tv) than the ride itself. Generally, kids tend to do just fine so long as mom or dad hold their hands through the Library part.

Hope you can experience it together. It's among the best attractions at WDW :earsboy:

DS rode this when he was five. He made it ok although he didn't ask to ride it again. I think the darkness and drop was scary for him. He said he felt like he was floating out of his seat belt. Now that scared me! :scared1:
