Will ToT be made? is it already in the works? will it be ToT or a differnet themed clone? please post any idea or facts you know about this becuse im sick of 200+ people looking at my posts and not saying anything lol

There have been some rumors that a Tower of Terror attraction may be added to DCA and WDS, and some people claim construction has begun in Anaheim, but I don't know how accurate that is. If all the construction people have claimed to be going on was correct, we'd not only have Dragon Tower and Fire Mountain by now, but two completely new theme parks at WDW as well ;)

Best information - the project is "on hold" pending a company-wide business review on the impact of the attacks and the level of effort required to fix California Adventure. If the project moves ahead, it will be the "cheap" version of the the ride (i.e., no 'Fifith Demension', no lateral movement, no hotel lobby) and it will not be called the 'Tower of Terror'.

Different groups in the Company want different things and have different plans. The "facts" are only as good as the person who you talk to. In short, don't plan your trip anytime soon.

If they build the "cheap" version, I have a way to save them even more money. Just build a building around the mailboomer. Those things ( ' Fithth Demension' , lateral movement, lobby, basement) are what makes TOT such a great attraction. If they are not going to put the effort into it, why build it at all. They already have a non-themed drop ride. Oh well, I suppose thats par for the course at DCA.

DCACentral has a commentary on ToT at DCA. There's also a drawing of the park with the expanded parcel highlighted. From the looks of it there seems to be enough room for several attractions, so I suppose ToT(or whatever they end up calling it) could fit in that area. We'll have to wait for the delayed announcement to be sure.
