Does anyone that has done the Tortola Scuba Excursion with Disney know the operator they use to conduct this? Perhaps those that have done the excursion can answer this question also...
The excursion info on Disney's site states a max depth of 60ft. I've looked at a layout of the wreck and some of the features that interest me are at depths deeper than this. Therefore I'm curious if this info is provided as a way to show that those with only OW certs can dive the wreck. However for those with the appropriate certs (which in this case really an AOW would be sufficient as nothing is beyond 90ft); would we be permitted to dive those features at deeper depths? Do you have to stick with a large group or can you and your buddy explore on your own? I will be with a buddy who also has the appropriate certs so it won't be a question of if I get paired up with the appropriate buddy. Based on the responses and experiences others have had, I will follow-up with the operator that conducts the excursion and we will make our decision based on all the info whether to sign up for this.
