Has anyone eaten here???? I always say im going to try it but never find the time. Anyone think its worth fitting in????

THANKS

We have been there twice.. The first time was AMAZING great food and service.. I knew we had to go back again.. Well, our next visit was horrible. They changed the menu, no big deal, but it seemed that the food was just not up to par. The chips aren't fresh, but bagged chips (We saw them behind the door) Plus our server was having a horrible day and seemed to forget that we were in their station... But, we did have great margaritas :drinking1 ... For me it wasnt' worth the $$$ that we spent. I don't know if I will be going back any time soon...

We went there once, the restaurant was not busy and we still had lousy service, then we all got food poisoning:sick: I wasn't impressed with the food either.

we ate there once and never again. My girlfriend got food poisoning  not a very good trip after that.. :headache:

Holy cow... until this thread I was planning on going there because I have heard nothing but rave reviews. Food poisoning? Yikes... that's a red flag right there...

Not that great. I'd go to House of Blues, Jazz Kitchen, or ESPN zone.

We went there on our last trip in Febuary and had wonderful service. The kids even got Balloon ears from the waitstaff. The food was okay I've had better but I'm not a big Mexican food person.

I guess I'm going to break the trend here:

I've eaten here on two different trips and both times I really enjoyed it. It's more "Gringo" than authentic I always felt, but I like that when I'm in the mood. The second time I was there, this past March, I/we had great service... I can't remember if there was anything out of the ordinary the other time I ate here.

The alcoholic drinks, between the Mexican beer list and the frozen drinks, I/we enjoyed as well.

That said, I wouldn't go out of the way to eat here... Although I probably consider it my favorite place to eat in DTD, at least of the places I've eaten. I'd prefer to eat in the parks though, or maybe walk over to PPH for some Japanese.

We ate there during our trip last August and it was horrible. It wasn't busy, our service was still horrible, the food was bad and it was expensive. We won't go back again.

We ate at Tortilla Jo's Taqueria last time we were in DL; are those 2 affiliated? Anyway, nobody liked their meal except my DH, who will eat pretty much anything. :rotfl:

I've eaten there several times and would go back without hesitation. On one occasion things got messed up in submitting our order and it took a long time, but they got us a free appetizer and gave us a discount to make up for it.

Tortilla Joe's Taqueria is essentially just their express window. Smaller menu and it's window service instead of table service.

I don't remember the food I had, but I had the best blended strawberry margarita EVER at TJs. And I've tried a few!

We went this past Sunday and we were not impressed. It was overpriced for what we got and the food was not great but no bad.

We ate there during our trip at the end of May. It was our first time and we thought the food was pretty good. Our service was fine, nothing stellar, but not bad. It was a little expensive, but I expected it to be because we were in DTD.

I had the mango chicken sandwich, DH got a chicken burrito.

We have also at at the Jazz Kitchen, it was wonderful! I would skip the ESPN Zone unless you just want to play the games.

well i dont like mexican food except toco bell and from the few bad reports ive seen i wouldnbt risk this on our trip.

We ate there in May and had wonderful food. DS and I had the fajitas. The steak in the fajitas was marinated in something wonderful. It was so good. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. The service was also very good.

My DW, DD and I all really liked the taco's from the express window we got last year, and it was inexpensive from what I recall.

We ordered burritos from the express windows 2 or 3 times in May. It was better than most of the food in the park. The portions were generous, the price was decent and we wouldn't have eaten there a second time if it hadn't been good.

ok then from what ive seen the excpress windo seems better then the sit down restrant..
