Toronto Disney Store closing

I am so sad the Eaton Store closed. I was an orginal Cast of that store, 20 years ago! Seems like yesterday. I was hired imediately following my term as a Cultural Rep at EPCOT! We worked so hard to open that store. I remember many late nights and very early mornings! Not long after we opened Fairview, Yorkdale and Square one. It was a lot of work, but so much fun and a each store had a great group of people! I loved training them and getting to know them! That was also when we had the quality merchandise and so many wonderful Disney collectibles, not the stuff found at Toys R us. Hopefully it is not gone for good!

I remember goign to the store right after it opened. I always stared at the watches because I wanted a Disney watch. I was coveting them. LOL Yes, they had some nice collectibles back then.

It looks like champs is moving to the lower level of the mall near the entrance from the SRT. That will leave the old champs vacant and would be a very good size for the Disney store and it would be two stores over from it's original location which is were Victoria Secret is.
