Tornado in Miami has anyone heard anything?

From CNN:

A tornado touched down in southeast Florida Monday morning, the National Weather Service said.

The twister hit in Oakland Park, just north of Ft. Lauderdale between 8 and 8:30 a.m., Weather Service Specialist Tyrone Mosley told CNN.
There was debris, but no immediate report of injuries, he said.

A tornado watch remained in place for South Florida until 11 a.m. ET.

CNN affiliate WFOR reported that the damage in Oakland Park included a large tree down and landscape damage. There were reports of a swirling debris cloud.

In other parts of the city, strong winds, possibly from a tornado, ripped the roof and door off of a business and overturned vehicles, including work trailers, WFOR said.

Some 4,200 residents in Oakland Park were without power, the station reported.

From a South Florida NBC affiliate:

Authorities in South Florida are responding to reports of a tornado sighting and minor property damage north of Fort Lauderdale.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office and the National Weather Service received reports of a possible tornado in Oakland Park Monday morning. The reports have not been verified.

Deputies say they have received calls about downed power lines, fire, and tree limbs and debris in roadways.

A tornado watch was in effect for Broward, Collier, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties until 11 a.m.
