You can do it! I'm nervous about my first solo trip next month, too. Honestly, talking to other solos here on the Dis has bolstered my confidence and calmed my nerves SO much! If you have ANY worries, concerns or questions... WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!!!

I'll have to admit deciding on my frist solo trip was probably very hard. It was suppose to be a totally different trip then it has turned into.
But the more and more I think about it I'm so excited to have a me, myself, and I trip
I've already talked about meets with a couple people on the boards for my Sept 11-15 trip and maybe I won't be solo the whole time. But if I am I've finally gotten to the point of being totally ok with that.
Getting to do what I want when I want sounds amazing. As someone told me on the boards it's like having sole control of the remote. And that right there is important.

Don't worry, you'll be fine.

I definitely would go with the Solo trip! I've been on 3 solo trips so far & they're getting addicting! I still enjoy going w/friends but I really look forward to my 'Disney Me Time'. I find that planning my trips tends to calm me down in general so maybe that will help ease your mind.

While I have never been solo. I helped a friend plan a solo trip. She has had a not so great year, she ended her relationship with her long time boy friend, they were together 9 years and had being living together 6 of them and with that came a lot of stuff that she did not have any idea that was going on. On top of finding out what was going on, 6 months after they split up, he got married and they are expecting. This about broke my friends heart, as she really wanted to get married and start a family. So she called me and said plan a trip for me.... I have to have some mental health time.

So she went for 8 nights, stayed at Poly, park hopped, laid by the pool, woke up when she wanted to, called it a night when she wanted to. She ate at character meals, and she said she enjoyed sitting at the bar eating and people watching, and really enjoyed some night life at DTD. She told me it was the best vacation she had in years. She met some really nice people, and had a wonderful time. She said she is going back for a long weekend during Christmas.
