Finally got to see it last month! Actually, wasn't that impressed after waiting 2 yrs. According to South Seas tradition, the end of the day/sundown is signaled by the sound of a conch shell. Then the bongo-type drums, fire-baton dancer, and hula girls. The fire dancer was fun to watch, and the hula girls (3) were ok. All looked polynesian....except for the guy with the conch shell...
he was actually one of the RPR attendants and I had also seen him working in the fitness center....in fact, he went back to doing that after he got changed from ceremony clothes. They also took kids and showed them how to hula if they wanted. If you happen to be walking by the pool area at the right time, stay and watch for a few. I wouldn't rush back from the parks just to see it though.
