Does anybody here have experience with the Topsy Turvy tomato grower? Would you recommend it? Why or why not?

I have one with peppers and one with tomatoes in my yard. No fruit yet but my plants are HUGE! I planted a little late so hopefully I'll see some buds soon.

I personaly have not but my aunt bought one and she said it was a waste of money. She said that she never got one tomato off of it but we don't seem to have the greenest thumbs in this family.

I have four out right now; three with tomatoes and one (that has three planting holes in the sides) with zucchini, yellow squash, and cucumbers. I have "harvested" two yellow squash and three zucchini, and will be begging people to take some tomatoes in a couple of weeks. I am going to have a HUGE harvest! By the weekend, we'll have enough squash and zucchini to grill for the whole family.

Our landscaper dropped by today, and he was amazed; he has a garden but he said he's going to get some of these next year. I never thought about it, but they are weed-free.

I got them because we have moved to a fairly rural area and there are deer around. I can't try to grow anything outside the patio fence, because we don't want to fence anymore of the yard.
