Topolino's Terrace Questions

I have an upcoming trip in March, and was able to score a dinner reservation for Topolino's Terrace this morning. The only issue is that it's for the day we fly home, and I'm worried time might be tight so I have a few questions. I think we will have enough time as long as the service isn't especially slow. Can anyone who's had dinner there tell me about how long it took? We would also need to head to the airport right from the Riviera after dinner, so does anyone know if their bell services will hold our luggage while we eat? I've also seen mixed responses here about whether luggage is allowed on the skyliner. We're staying at Pop Century, so it would be convenient to just ride the skyliner to the Riviera. Has anyone had luck doing this? Thanks!

Depending on the actual timing, I expect you can notify your server that you're tight on time, and need to keep things moving - perhaps reviewing the menu before you go so you know what you might like to order could help. I also expect that Riviera Bell Services would hold bags for you. I think the biggest unknown is if they'd allow the bags on the Skyliner. That might be a problem. Suppose you could take a cab from PC to Riviera with the bags. Then hire another cab at Riviera for the airport? How important is the dinner for your family that night? Sounds like a lot of hoops to go through - but it is a nice place to eat!

While I find dinner there to be nice, I don't think it's worth the hassle of luggage and hurrying through dinner. You can check your bags with bell services without an issue, if you opt to go.

Can you shift it to another night of your trip? Dinner reservations pop up a lot, especially within days of your trip. Might be worth checking back.

The issue isn't just with the service, it's when you will be seated. The last time I ate at Topolino's, we weren't seated until almost 45 minutes past our ADR time. Perhaps consider looking for a Topolino's breakfast ADR instead so you aren't pressed for time and could simply keep your bags at Pop.

This might not be the answer you are looking for, but I wouldn't do it. We ate at Topolino's for the first time last month and it was a wonderful experience (emphasis on experience). The food was wonderful, as was the service, the atmosphere, the slow pace of the meal, etc. We had a late reservation and were able to go outside on the terrace and watch the fireworks in between our appetizer and entree courses. All in all, we were there for well over 2 hours (probably closer the 3).

Now, could that have been faster? I'm sure it could if you specifically asked for that and eliminated the 30 minutes or so we were out on the terrace. But considering how expensive that restaurant is, I wouldn't want to. I'd feel as if we were short changing ourself. I highly recommend eating there and feel it is very much worth the price, but not if you're going to be rushing through the meal and worrying about catching a plane the entire time. I'd keep trying for an ADR on a different night. Heck, we were staying at the Riviera and noticed that most nights they were quoting a 10 minute walk up wait on the app.

I can't see how it would be worth it if you know you are going to be watching the clock the whole meal. We very much enjoyed our meals there but they were all a little more lengthy with an emphasis on the overall experience. I wouldn't want to plow through it, especially for the price tag.

Dinner reservations are not nearly as hard to get as breakfast, so I would cancel and pick up a reservation during your trip (I have ALWAYS seen multiple dinner reservations pop up, especially with the new 2 hour window). It's not worth the stress and they often run behind on seating. It took our dinner an hour and 10 minutes with one drink each, one shared appetizer, and two entrees, and we were one of the earlier seatings, and do not linger over a meal.
