Managed today to get a Topolino’s breakfast for our trip in two weeks! Does anyone have any recent reviews there—specifically did you feel spacing was adequate (two adults are vaccinated but DD8 is not)? Did you feel like you saw the characters enough? I have heard you can order 2 entrees for the same $42 price per person—is that true? we would totally get a fruit plate as well as a more filling entree if that is the case. Thanks!

Went last month. Was quite crowded in the waiting area (they were behind that day) but all were masked. Tables very well spread out. We took our time with breakfast and I'm pretty sure we saw each character come through 3 times as well as the "parades" with all four of them. They're all very good about paying attention to each table, interacting via gestures, posing for selfies etc. They're quite engaging. Honestly almost felt like there was always a character in the room but it wasn't chaotic. Food was delicious and service great. We did get an extra entree for the table (not an extra one each ... between the pastries and a single entree each it's really quite filling)- comes out as a side, really vs. full plate. In our case our "extra" was waffles and they came out on a smaller plate without the side of sausage or bacon that would come if it was a regular entree. Also, one in our group got the steak and the server offered to add eggs to it. Enjoy!!

Editing to add - there's kind of a back room and I have seen some posts that character interaction isn't as great back there so you may want to ask to sit in the main room at the podium.

And whatever you do, don't accept a table along the windows in the middle of the row. This is to the right when you walk in. The characters will NOT stop in that "runway". We learned this the hard way, twice. They stop in each of the four corners of the room, so if you have kids, try to request to be seated in those areas.

We went in February and it was wonderful. They are doing spacing of diners very well, we did not feel crowded at all. The waiting area got a bit packed with people waiting for a table but since the wait staff was rushing no one that makes sense. The food was great and the character interaction, as much as they can do right now, was very good. Donald blew me kisses and Mickey waved at my grandson on my phone. The above statement about the corners is very true. The way the place is set up currently there is a lot of space for the characters to dance and put on their show in the corners so that is where the action happens. We were seated center right corner and so had a wonderful view of the characters. Biggest problem we had was finding handicap parking at the resort and finding the restaurant once we got inside. Thankfully a custodial cast member saw our confusion and led us directly to the elevator with a laugh and a wish for a magical day. I think this breakfast is going to end up on our must do list along with Tiffins dinner.

Thank you! Yes, we were thinking of just ordering one fruit p,ate or one waffle plate for the table in addition to individual entrees. The steak will be my entree I think!

Thanks for the tip. Yes, we will be with DD8 so we will ask for a corner. If we have to wait longer, that is OK by me

Hands down my favorite meal of our trip last month! DH’s steak was melt in your mouth. I had the adult waffle and my son had the kids waffle dippers (he is obsessed with dips - big hit!) The characters were always around and I think we were there for 2 full cycles (each one individually then they come out together). So fun!

We went last month, just DH and myself. We had a 12pm reservation but arrived closer to 11:30am and were seated within a few minutes. We walked in and were seated to the left, so we could see the characters come in and leave. Table spacing was pretty good. We had a large table for just two of us.

I ordered the:

Quiche Gruyère
House-made Pancetta, Roasted Potatoes, Field Greens, Lemon Vinaigrette

And DH had:
Wild Mushroom Scramble
Spinach, Plant-based Eggs, Plant-based Sausage, Tomatoes (Plant-based

And we wanted to share:
Sour Cream Waffle
Roasted Apple, Chantilly, Orange-Maple Syrup, and served with choice of Smoked Bacon, Ham, Sausage, or Plant-based Sausage

Overall we thought the food was very good, it was fun to see the characters again and attempt to catch selfies:

Food we thought was good, I really enjoyed my meal with the greens. DH liked his for the most part but since it was all "plant based" he was not as fond of the plant based "sausage". I asked if we could share the waffles, so they split the two waffle meal and put one on each plate...and it was still too much food but I had to try them.

These started muffins/breads were also so good:

It was expensive but a great way to finish off our "non Disney" trip with some Disney flair since we didn't visit any parks or see any characters. This was perfect. Not sure I could stomach paying for this in the future for our whole family, but for just DH and I as a special treat I would do it again.

Trying out the "new" Chef Mickey's Dinner next month so can't wait to see how that compares.

Thanks for the details! We also have a a chef a Mickey s reservation this trip (luckily found that one too just a few days ago). I think we will cancel one of them and I’m leaning toward keeping Topolinos. Sounds like the found is more quality over quantity, and I want to check out Riveria!

We rarely do character meals, but we loved Topolino's last year for dinner, so I also booked this for this summer. However I made sure it's late- 11:30 so it will serve as breakfast and lunch at once. I can't see doing a large meal at 830 in the morning or something.

Two questions...
1.) any other characters there besides donald and mickey? DD loves chip n dale and it looks like GG for lunch or dinner is all that is left.
2.) best way to get to topolinos from AK? we would like to do a morning in AK and then have a late breakfast around 11:30 at Topolinos.

TIA!

Minnie and Daisy are also there.

We will have a car and drive from our resort to Topolinos, but from AK I think the bus is the only way besides a car
