Quick question for those in the know....

What is the best rate you can generally get on cash back sites for wdtc hotel & tickets?

I'm sure whenever I've looked on TCB it is usually 3.03% for hotel only booking but goes down to 1.01% if you include tickets.

Currently it is 4.04% for hotel and tickets on TCB which looks like quite a good rate to me but not sure if I'd see the same in a couple of weeks again.

Quite keen to book in the current promotion for next may.

Thanks

I only use quidco but have always got 3 or 4% for hotels plus tickets.

When I used TCB they were offering a very good rate, it was about 7%.

However, frustratingly, WDW declined the CB and when I raised a dispute, they eventually acknowledged the transaction but would only pay at the current rate at that time, which was 3.03%. We lost about £50 as a result which was highly frustrating.

Anyway, 3-4% is the norm for a package. We did get 10% CB room only and 12% on flights last year with Expedia which was a fantastic deal, and another 5% on tickets.

Thanks. I could've sworn every time I've looked it was around 1% when you include tickets and that kind of made sense as the difference between the 1 and 3% cashback rates seemed to equate to the 'saving' Disney advertised if you booked tickets with the hotel room.

The 4% ends tomorrow I think. Trying to decide whether to take the leap and make it official....

I know others have no problem with TCB but I only use them if Quidco don't offer cashback.
On Quidco I get around £70-80/month cashback, many transactions, they pay out 99.9% of the time with just the odd blip. On the other hand my history with TCB is not great with only around 75% payout.

Best rate I have ever seen for WDW is 5%, usually its 3%.

I use both as the rates and offers vary from time to time. I also have one of those £5 a year accounts with TCB so I get a boosted rate and on the bigger purchases it more than makes it up.

Regarding Disney bookings however, I have yet to have TCB beat Quidco. Never had an issue with getting my cashback or tracking either, but if you are registered for both, it may be worth checking them both before you decide.

Hi,

We are about to make our 2015 booking (I went to Disney for the first time this year and want to go again!). Last time we didn't use Quidco.

My question: how does it work if you are making a booking for a £2k hotel & tickets holiday through Quidco, but only paying the £300 deposit at this stage?

Will I get the cashback on the full £2k, and when?

Thanks,
Sam

You cash back on the full holiday price.

I have always had my cash back after a few months from booking and always before I have paid in full.

Same here, always had the whole cashback after paying the deposit.

I booked last night via TCB, my usual cashback website though I used Quidco last year due to an increased percentage at the time. Again my cashback is slightly above the £100 deposit so I feel if I change my mind or something changes between now and then I won't lose anything :thumbsup2

The 4.2% with TopCashBack is a very good rate but ends as you say tomorrow and with the free dining offer and $200 gift card ending 10th July, you might not get another chance at 4.2% again, but who knows

This was all the motivation I needed. Booked last night for 2 weeks at the beginning of May. Used TCB and the cashback tracked in my account within 10-15 minutes.

And at least I wasn't going mad. I checked TCB this morning and their hotel & ticket rate is back to 1.01%. For how long who knows and I did see quidco are still doing 3% so all wouldn't have been lost.

Thanks for the help guys, I too booked my holiday over the weekend and cashback tracked on the whole amount.
