Well not really. But I wanted to Share this with my DL Friends first!! It is free, although you have to sign up.

Southwest Airlines has their Rapid Rewards Club. It is free. I read this and really doubted it. So, I took my AAA card with a 10% discount and the $7.00 coupon a fellow DL Dis'er shared with me, and a color copy[print at home] Rapid Rewards Card. I was ready to get a Sea World Discount no matter what!!

I had all 3 with me, as the 3 of us approached the San Diego, Sea World Ticket Booth. And I was ready to argue any point. But I handed them the printed RR Card on full sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper.

The ticket person looked at it handed it back and processed our 20% off Sea World tickets!!!! This worked so slick I was stunned!! My Dh was also stunned it worked. He had been certain we would have to pay full price!!

Wow, that's great!

DS and I bought their "fun passes" or whatever they were called (pay for one days' admission, get the end of '07 and all but 4 days of '08), but if we got to Seaworld in May and miss out on that deal for DH, we'll definitely go for the RR discount. Thanks for posting this!

Thanks so much for the info! We're going to San Antonio and Austin next week for Spring Break and had planned to visit Sea World during our visit. Saving money is always a plus!

It was just so Fun to, get a really good discount and prove to Dh that I could make, San Diego, Sea World More Affordable for our Family!

Plus Dd got to Swim with the Dolphins!! and That was really priceless!

Well if you can call $150. priceless!

And it beat DC's $270!

I love being a Bargain Shopper!!

oooh,oooh...... tell me more about your daughter swimming with dolphins. Ds wanted to do that when we went in 2005 and he was 7. He's now 10 and we thought about going back to Seaworld this summer.

When we were at Sea World this Jan. I saw a green painted fence.

Sea World has a special Tank area for the Dolphin Swim. With 4 areas for the swimmers and Dolphins. Have your video equipment primed with a Zoom ready to go!!

The swmmer is asked to be at the Dolphin Swim area 1/2 hour before the scheduled time. They have a small store where you check in at and they direct you to the gate to wait by. When they go through the gate they had a class about Dolphin Do's and more important the Don'ts. Then they suited up in the wet suits and enter the outdoor tank.

The swimmers came out and found one of the 4 area of the tank assigned to them. This is a parent scrabble!! Everyone is trying to find a perfect area so they can see their swimmer.

Each of the 4 SW Trainer takes 1 of 4 dolphins thru there tricks then they switch dolphins and do new tricks. They continue this for 30 minutes. As you watch your swimmer interact with the dolphins.

The only thing that isn't done, is hold on to the Dolphins fin while being pulled thru the water.
