i know, but don't think DH would ever go to bringing them as babies... we made an agreement along time ago that the kids had to be almost 4... but you are right about the cost etc... so maybe we will be rethinking that for sure! I just don't know how enjoyable it really is when you have to deal with little ones IMHO.. but we are traveling with them this summer to chicago, so we will see how the travel!~ >) I forgot that you and Charles stayed there already during food and wine...

So sorry I was behind this week and missed the great news! BUSY week it was... I was rested after the cruise, and then, WHAM! four days of nuttiness!

NOW that it is official...

I can hear the island music playing!!! Say, when we were on the cruise I have to say I felt that Castaway Cay and CBR were vaguely similar.... WONDER why that is??!! Seriously, as you know, the colors and the atmosphere is so upbeat there. In the summer it is probably a lively island party! VERY exciting for you!

And of course since planning surprises is right up my alley, I think it is the best way to go, too!!!! Both! I SAY, you tell them that you have decided to go to KEY WEST after all... since I know you had been discussing this way back LAST year, after your Disney trip, right?? SO, driving south to Florida will make sense, and if they don't know really the road route, they probably won't "get it" until you are really close to orlando, and or they see "Disney" and Universal billboards... So in MY opinion, that would be a great cover...

Whatever you do I am sure it will be a perfect CP, err, Natasha, plan.

I took Rachael to Disneyland when she was a month shy of 3 yrs old and it was PERFECT, imo....plus-she was free! She had a lot of fun and loved everything!

Evan really wants to stay there someday. We are always too big but one of these days, we won't be!

With a 12 almost 13 year old girl you will want to let her choose what she wants to pack or it could be ugly but 2 days ought to do it! Besides that way she won't have time to tell you then 10 new things she'd NEED for the trip (or at least that's what Kendall would do )

We did and enjoyed it. It won't ever be my favorite movie of all-time, but I think it was a worthy addition to Tim Burton's body of work. I loved Anne Hathaway! I thought she was great as the White Queen.

All is well aside from the start of tornado season and my pre-teen's attitude.

We're experiencing both of these things here as well! First tornado of the season was Monday, thankfully not close to where we live, and then last night I got a bit teen tude There was some science thing at one of the local high schools last night and if Justin went and got some paper stamped at all the different stations then he could get extra credit for science. So a friend of mine and I took our boys and while we were signing them in and getting their extra credit sheets two little girls came up and gave the boys hugs - the boys immediately acted like they didn't know us and ditched us as soon as they got their sheets. But, rather than get irritated about it, we texted them to call us when they were done and my friend and I went down the street to Chili's and had margaritas! Then they got irritated when they had to wait on us to come back and get them - I guess they thought we should have just sat in the parking lot and waited on them Ahhhhh, teenagers, gotta love 'em!

Chelsea is going through the same sort of phase. Over the last year, she has gone from giving me a hug when we part ways in the morning to just saying, "I love you and see you later," to nothing. Often she doesn't even acknowledge that we have arrived together as she heads off down the hall. Oh well. I remember going through that same phase which is why I keep apologizing to my mother these days.

However, we have had some changes in rules around here. She was getting way too caught up in her social life and was letting schoolwork fall by the wayside. We made some "lifestyle changes" this week -- from now until the end of school, she only gets internet access, her cell phone, and a social life on the weekends (and only if she has turned everything in and made good grades during the week -- thank goodness for the ability to check her grades online). Hopefully this will help her refocus on her grades.

I love Vera Bradley for my park bags, and I have had my eye on the Cupcake Pink mailbag for awhile now. I love the color and the style. It will just be perfect for our week at Caribbean Beach, and then, in 2011, it will work just as perfectly for our Christmas trip.

I have held off buying it as I was waiting for just the right price on eBay. This week, Vera Bradley put the Cupcake patterns on 25%, and if you spend a certain amount you can get free shipping.

Well, I need another item to make up the total for my order. What should I get??? Such a dilemma...
