I tied searching and could not find this. Do BLT dues pay for Top of the world?
And then other perks like Epcot Lounge are paid through DVC marketing correct?
That is why white card members can get into Top of the World and not Epcot Lounge, correct?
But if the viewing deck is paid for by dues then its not fair to white card owners that can not access that part of the resort. Since it not a common area accessible to white card folksFrom my research, it is pretty complicated.
I "think" the viewing deck area maintenance is paid for with BLT dues as a part of the common areas of the resort.
The lounge itself is a "commercial unit" which is not funded by dues - Disney does have more options to restrict or alter the lounge and access to it. But because it's not funded by dues, improving profitability of the lounge by generally allowing all members access has been the policy.

No one can access it right now. So totally fair. But if the viewing deck is paid for by dues then its not fair to white card owners that can not access that part of the resort. Since it not a common area accessible to white card folks
So viewing area paid by dues... the other part is a commercial lease? From my research, it is pretty complicated.

Epcot Lounge is paid by DVD from direct sales profits. So viewing area paid by dues... the other part is a commercial lease?
Epcot lounge how is it paid? Whose budget does that come out of?
The viewing deck is also a commercial unit along with the lounge itself. Neither are paid by dues. From my research, it is pretty complicated.

Yes, that's from the public offering statement.I am assuming that is from our contract? Good to know. Thank you. So it gets maintenance through Disney... not through BLT dues it is seems like.
Then if our DVC dues pay for the Epcot lounge, can they afford something better than animal crackers for the snack? It's mostly adults I see in the Epcot lounge! Bring back some Cheez Its!![]()
Forgive my ignorance, but what are white cards contingent upon? I haven't been on the boards or following things for some time and this is something I'm unaware of.
Thank you.
