Top Chef - anyone watch? Season Finale Tonight!

This is a great show! : I have to say, though, I was a little disappointed in Wednesday night's elimination. Anyone else?

P.S. Top Chef is on Wednesday nights on Bravo network.

I told DH before the show started that I thought that ... or Dave would be the ones to go home, so I wasn't surprised. I think the final 3 will be Steven (wine guy), Leanne and Tiffany.

I wasn't going to watch it, but when project runway ended, we just started watching this one. The pace reminds me of project runway. I HATE the celeb. cook-off show.

Daxx's Wife here! I love Top Chef! I missed Weds, so you'll have to PM me and let me know who was booted!

My favorite is Tiffani ... b/c even though she can be a beotch to the other contestants, she is no-nonsense and really has her stuff down. Stephen, the sommalier, drives me nuts. Could that knot in his tie be any larger? Daxx thinks he's an animatron ... the way he moves! I think that he doesn't know how to move his neck and shoulders b/c they're so stiff!!! I like all the other remaining chefs. It's to the point where I really don't want to see anyone voted off b/c I like them all.

So far, I have wanted to taste so many things that they've made, esp. that persian sandwich that Tiffani and Miguel (maybe?) made b/c it looked so yummy on the "street food" show.

This has been a fun show and I hope it goes on the track of Project Runway, where they'll run more cycles of contestants!!!

I also hate the celeb. cook-off show. I'd like to see them do it w/o help from celeb. chefs ... I wonder how many would even know how to make macaroni and cheese from a box!!!!

I love the pace of Top Chef, too. Very reminiscent of Project Runway (which I love, too). I hope they'll run this and Project Runway back-to-back on Weds. nights!

And, believe it or not, I will even sit through the "marathons" even though I've seen the episodes ... it's just that interesting!!!!

DH (who is in the culinary field) and I thought it would be either Dave or Miguel at the beginning. But by the end we thought that by rights Stephen should have been eliminated (since he was primarily responsible for the dissatisfaction of the customers that night), but understand why he wasn't - he is too fun to watch, you kind of "love to hate" him, so that's probably why they kept him around. By his own admission, Stephen was "in the weeds" that night, LOL. He is so full of himself...

My DH can never remember Stephens name, so he just calls him "that Santino guy" He is so full on himself just like Santino was, he just lacks Santinos drama!!

Stephen gets on my nerves, Dave is just sooooooooooooooo annoying, I really like both girls, but Harold just seems to fly under the radar. He's not bad, but he's not WOW either.

I thought the person who was eliminated showed class by hugging everyone (including you know who). I was glad to see it!

I love the show! Tiffani, Leanne, and Harold are my favorites and I'd be happy if any of them won. I felt so bad for Leanne last night because she was going to have problems from the get go with her team.

I think Stephen is a pompous windbag that I want to smack but he cracks me up because he's so full of himself.

We started watching this midway through the season!! Ya' gotta love Stephen!! He's just so self assured. Personally I think Leann should win. Tiffani reminds me of Mario Batali in drag.

Lee Ann and Harold are my favorites. I love Top Chef. I also find myself watching the reruns over and over again.

I think it's either going to be Tiffani or LeeAnn. They're both professional and very well rounded. Harold and Steven may be a bit too haute cuisine and Dave is very mainstream. Tiffani is a wonderful chef but I prefer LeeAnn's personality.

I totally loved Cynthia (the one you're talking about) ...b/c she was always "all over the place" and seemed so disorganized. I know she was distracted b/c of her father ... but, for some reason, I think she's that way regardless of her family situation! She was a hoot!

I was sad to see that she wasn't there ... and then, in the credits, that show was dedicated to her father.

I only ran across it last week and saw my first episode, but I was hooked from the get go. Now I've seen 2 episodes and I was glad to see that miguel guy go. I didnt like him at all, hes certainly not what I think of when I think of "top chef" quality and all the constant whining...geez. What is he...4?

I was surprised this week though cause I did feel like the wine guy would be leaving simply because hes out there blowing smoke up all his customers butts instead of bringing out the food. He's such an idiot, yet he doesnt know it yet. Perhaps he does now if he's been watching the episodes, anyone know when this was filmed.
It was so funny when the chef judge asked him what he was doing and he said "but I had to tell them the difference between rock and a hard place" and the judge is like these are not kids, you dont have to explain things to them....LOL

I think LeAnne is very good and the Mario Batali girl is good too.

Love the show!! I would like to see Lee Anne win, but I would not have a problem with Harold or Tiffani. Dave is far too emotional for me and Stephen is full of himself. I enjoy this type of program and am looking forward to the 2nd season of "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox this June.
