Top 3 songs in your ipod

I'm odd and listen to whole albums verses songs, my top three would be:

Candlebox/Candlebox
Cry of Love/Brother
Eric Clapton & BB King/Riding With The King

For about a week and half I just let my iphone play whatever album came next. I have seriously good stuff on there I forgot all about!

It changes but here's the current top 3:

Shake It- Metro Station
Full Moon- Black Ghosts (Twilight soundtrack)
Strut- Adam Lambert

Mine at the moment are

Cowboy Casanova by Carrie Underwood
My Life Would Suck without You by Kelly Clarkson
When I Look at You by Miley Cyrus

Of course it depends on the day. But most recently:

Queen & the Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody. I downloaded it the day it was available. It makes me smile.

House of Pain's Jump Around. So old school funk.

Kings of Leon Use Somebody.

Currently it is:

The Days of Swine and Roses - My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult
Big Girl (You are Beautiful) - Mika
Starlight - Muse

I am now sure the top three (and I am too lazy to go get my Ipod :guilty:) but I know my top song is "Rocking the Cashbah" by The Clash.

ok I'm downloading that one! love it!

Um... there's no "currently" anything, you only get one set of top 3 most played songs! Unless of course you reset it but who does? If you have played a song 200 times over your itunes playing time, your current favorite song isn't just going to overcome 200 plays.

There's a difference between your current favorite songs and as the OP asked "your top 3 most listened to ones".

Mine is,
"SexyBack" Justin Timberlake
"See You Again" Miley Cyrus
"Empire State of Mind" Jay-Z & Alicia Keys

If I play Stigmata by Ministry 4 more times, my top 3 would then change. So currently, as of today, my top 3 are as posted.:headache:

"Love Addict" - Family Force 5
"Kountry Gentleman" - Family Force 5
"We Are The End" - Alexisonfire

Queen & the Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody. I downloaded it the day it was available. It makes me smile.

This is the best! Love it!

Well, according to my iPod stats the top 3 are all from the same album (DMB Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King):

Dive In
Spaceman
Funny The Way It Is

The top 7 are all from that album or the Juno Soundtrack.

I have noticed though that ending a song a little early sometimes keeps it from registering as a listen and since I listen to a lot of live DMB I do often skip the end of tracks because of song breaks so I'm sure it isn't completely accurate.

I know for a fact that I have listened to the live version of Typical Situation (Recorded 6/9/2000 at Riverbend Music Center) and Bartender (Recorded 8/9/2008 at the Alpine Valley Music Center) at least as many times as those 3.

Right now, mine are I Never Came and Little Sister by Queens of the Stone Age, along with It's Over by The Fire Theft.

That's true. You have to get all the way to the end of a track for it to count as a listen. For songs that have "empty" space at the end or that I normally skip the end of, I usually just scroll to about 2 seconds from the end and let it run so it ends up counting as a listen.

Technically the top 3 songs on my iPod were ones I accidentally fell asleep on and had it on repeat the whole night, which happens quite often. (oops lol) SOOO I don't consider those as valid. I will however list the top 3 I have played A LOT and know that they are up there in play count! :thumbsup2

1: Always Be My Baby - by David Cook (his studio version) **side note: It actually has been a long while since I've listened to this...closer to around a year and a half, and I just listened to it again, since it was up there on my play count (547 now ), and I actually fell in love with it again. I've always loved it, but it just got to me again, like I've heard it for the first time. I'll tell you, there's nothing like hearing a song like that for the first time. It sends chills down my spine and it makes me wanna cry and smile and scream and laugh all at once. THAT, in my book, deserves to be in my top 3, let alone my top song, and that's why it's been played so much. **

2: The Distance - by July For Kings (this song makes me think, and the lyrics allow me to imagine a whole world in my head without going too crazy and outrageous. It's the perfect song for imagining, lyric-wise)

3: Gone Away - by SafetySuit (this is the ultimate song to listen to when you're in the dark, watching the rain at night, walking alone somewhere, or just need a good cry. :sad1:)

My top 3 are:

"Rainy Monday" by Shiny Toy Guns
"To Love You More" by Celine Dion
"The Flame" by Cheap Trick

I have an odd collection of music on my iTouch. A whole lot of 80's-90's power ballads and lots of dance music. I mainly listen to music when I'm working out and running.
