I love my pool time in WDW. Although having the best pool isn't a deal breaker for me, it's something I look forward to at each resort. I thought it might be fun to see what everyone thinks the top 3 resort pools are. What do you like best about those pool areas???

P.S.- I wish there were a swimming smilie to insert here.

I looked at Stormalong Bay and it looks excellent! We also liked the pool areas at the Polynesian and the Wilderness Lodge. :)

Okay, I know I will be in the minority...but our favorite is the Contemporary's pool. The slide is so much fun. You have two hot tubs. The "theme" is not really there...but the watery fun is.

At number two I would put AKL. Ahhhh...such a relaxing pool and it never seems to feel overcrowded.

Third. Not sure, we liked the volcano pool at the Poly but actually liked the quiet pool there better. And while the Beach Club pool rocked, it was very hard to keep an eye on young children there. I would say that in a few years, when our children were more independent, I would vote the BC pool our #3 and it might actually move up in the standings. ;)

I was in WDW just last week, we went to Cape May for dinner buffet at the beach club, and I was speaking with one of the managers from the hotel, she was telling me that the pool at the Beach Club was one of the most popular pools on Disney property, I went to take a look at it and she was right, it is huge.........and the slide is cool, and if I'm not mistaken it has it's own lazy little river.

I also heard that the Broadwalk was cool also.

Stormalong Bay at YC/BC was awesome, but yes, tricky to accomodate our kids' age span AND keep an eye on them. (no problem at all finding places to make everyone happy, just not at the same time)

We love the main pool at Saratoga. Zero entry area is perfect for little ones, the slide is fun, and there's also a "baby" water slide that the kids got a kick out of. Very pretty, relaxing, quiet, and still fun.

According to my kids they rate the ones we have stayed at in this order:

1. SAB at YC/BC (no brainer right)
2. Poly
3. GF

Now they really liked the GF pools too but rated SAB and the Poly pools a little higher.

It's funny when we first started going to WDW with the younger ones I didn't think the pool would be a big deal since we have an inground pool at home - wrong - as soon as we got there they wanted to start swimming!

1. PO-R. My kids loved this pool area. Probley since it has the playground + fishing hole nearby. They stayed happy for hours :goodvibes
2. Poly. Can't beat the view of Cindy's castle. Plus at night it is so cool to watch Wishes + EWP from the pool :cloud9:
3. Y+BC. Have not stayed there yet, but it looks really cool :thumbsup2

1. High Rock Springs pool at SSR
2. Volcano pool at Poly
3. Storm-Along Bay at YC/BC
