Our package gets us into Mickey's Toontown Madness, which I understand begins at the time park opens, rather than needing to wait the hour until Toontown typically opens. When does the actual ceremony start there? I assume they need to wait awhile for people to make it through the park. Should we leave all our Toontown activities for this time? We'll be doing EE on our first day (a Thursday) and then will need to wait until our last day (a Sat.) for MTTM. Thanks for any tips to help make this a fun and time-saving event.

Characters are out in the street for about the first 20 minutes or so, for pictures and autographs. Then, they characters leave to get ready for the ceremony. The do a little parade through town, then the ceremony. After the ceremony the characters go to their homes for more meet and greet time.

Yes, I would just wait and do toon town at that time. You'll be able to meet the characters, ride the couple rides, and look around in that hour of morning madness. If you try to go during the day, you'll find long lines for rides that arent really worth it.

We went to the morning madness on our trip in Feb., and even though we were there during a VERY busy time (President's Week), the Toontown Morning Madness wasn't very crowded at all. After the "festivities" my kids went on the roller coster in there and got to ride 4 times in a row, as there was no line and the CM just kept asking if they wanted to keep going. They thought that was great!! No line for Roger Rabbit either.

Is there a way to purchase tickets to this separately or do you have to get it throught a pcakage?

Sometimes you can get them off ebay or someone here at Dis will sometimes be willing to share passes they didnt use. But, there is no way to get them from Disney with out purchasing a package.

We got our tickets for this through the package we booked with AAA. Leaving next Friday!!!!

Thanks for the comments. It sounds as if this will work great for us. We also got our tickets through an AAA package.
