Took the kids to see Jungle Book 2 today

DH & I took DD4 & DS8 to the movies today. We all liked it. They kept it fairly close to the original - almost as if it was the second part of a two-part movie. The new voices even sounded like the originals.

Even tho it's a family movie, there are some scary parts. When Shere Kahn is after Mowgli it gets dark and it had my usually over brave DD reaching over to grab my arm and then snuggling close. One small child was so upset his Mom had to carry him out. It doesn't last too long and it does have a happy ending.

If you go, look out for Kaa and his not so hidden Mickey!

$24 for 4 movie tickets (matinee show)
$21.62 for two medium drinks, one lage popcorn, one bag of skittles and a bag of starbursts. Not cheap.

we really didnt care for the movie that much I thought they could have come up a better plot than they did, it was boring in my opinion, the characters were very close to the original, they did do a great job with the voices though, I just wish they would have made it more of a better story line.
