Too soon to ask about renting points

Hi all - I just wondered when it is too soon to inquire about renting points. I believe that you cannot make a ressie until 11 months out - correct?

We are looking for points at either BW or BC for 3 nights in September 2006 Sun-Wed in just a studio (yes, I'm planning far ahead!)

When is a good time to try and find someone to rent the points from?
