Test Track turned out to be so much fun. My girls kept asking me if I really wanted to go on it, they know me all too well. But as it didn't go off the ground, I figured I was safe. Then they though they'd be funny and put me in the front. I thought it was great
We had our anniversary dinner at Shula's. If you have never been to Shula's, it is quite an experience. We had friends who had warned us about the portions and the $$$$, so we had budgeted for it. The waitstaff is top notch, ie hold your chair for you, put your napkin on your lap, etc. We shared a sampler appetizer which included, crab cocktail, shrimp cocktail, barbeque shrimp, and lobster. Everything was very good. I was looking around trying to figure out where the ladies room was to wash my hands after eating the shellfish and the next thing I knew, the waiter was there with warm washcloths for everyone. They then bring over a cart so you can see the cuts of meat and the side dishes. As the portions were very generous, my DD 21, DF 16, and I ordered the "petite filet". My DD 15 order the MahiMahi and my DH had the smaller porterhouse. None of us ordered any sides (the potatoes were the size of footballs), which turned out to be a blessing because my DH was the only one who finished his steak. It was the most expensive meal we've every had but we didn't leave hungry. It was a once in a lifetime kind of thing, only going to be married 25 years once......more later - MaryAnn
