Too Much Drama??

Way too much drama on the camping board lately, we have to turn that around.

The DISboards have a feature in your control panel: you can have a buddy list and an ignore list, should you desire not to see a certain members posts simply add that member to your ignore list, unfortunately you are not able to ignore a moderator though....

Very smart idea Scott. When I commented this morning about the Nascar chat room I forgot to mention they had an ignore option which made the person you wanted to ignore go off the chat list and voice. This is great. We called it the iggy button btw.

Me neither and I just don't get involved in these mini drama things since life is too short and I'm on the down side of the slope and have much more important things to do like mowing the grass and then sit back and watch it grown again.

I must have been mia for the drama...hmmmm?? I say that if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all!! I love the camping board, it's my favorite out of all the boards here. Everyone has been very nice and you all have the BEST sense of humor!! I enjoy coming on here and reading as many posts as I can, it's enlightening, not to mention loads of fun

TAMPA BAY -- Some beautiful birds are creating quite a stir in one Florida city.

About 40 peacocks have taken over a cemetery and people living in the Tampa Bay area neighborhood said that is a problem because they have been doing some serious damage -- tearing pool screens and stratching cars.

Experts say the reason they are pecking at the cars is because it is mating season and they see their reflection in the shiny exteriors.

I had some cardinals do that blasted pecking to our rear view mirrors when we lived in AL. I had borrowed one of my dad's vehicles and they trashed the rear view mirrors on his van, and he started cussin' me out saying I didn't know how to take care of his van...I had to physically drag that man outside and show him the cardinals. Geesh! Parents!

Just to show that Im MORE than just a STIRRER OF VARIOUS STYLES OF CRAP..... Ive prepared a visual aid to assist those that are less than patient with a computer.

If you'd like to utilize the "IGNORE" feature, but dont know where its at,

1. Scroll to the top of this or any DIS page and click on "User CP":

2.That will bring you to the "user control panel", once here, click on "edit options":

3. Scroll down the "options" page till you see the "private messaging" section and click on the "buddy list" link:

4. the "Buddy/Ignore List" page will have a place to add names.

You should be okay from here. Learn and get used to this routine, I have a feeling we will be using it often for a while.

When you get to Step #2, at the bottom ( below the Edit stuff listed ) of the Control panel is Buddy/ignore List . This will bypass step #3 all together. Geez Rog, people think I walk around the barn six times before walking in the front door .
