Too many thrill rides?

With the recent introduction of GotG and Tron, the parks seem to be aiming more towards thrill rides these days. Isn't it time for Disney to go back to its story telling days and bring us a new attraction that doesn't throw us around?

In the pst 17 years, I think WDW has only introduced five thrill rides (and two of those five are a simulator). That's not exactly an overwhelming number in nearly two decades.
