Too many layouts for album...

OK, I know I read a thread not long ago about Disney albums being to thick and people's solutions. I bought a Tinkerbell album when we were at WDW this year. I decided that this 10 day trip deserved my full attention and to go ahead and scrapbook almost all the photos I printed. I've got about 50 layouts done and maybe 20 more. If I stopped right now, I think the album would be OK, though it is still a bit thicker than I like.

But I still have 4 layouts for DHS, 10 for Epcot, and 5 or 6 misc. ones. I don't want to spend the money on another Tink album and I'd really like to have it all be in one album but I'm just not sure anymore. I don't want it to look stupid.

Anyone have any genius solutions?

We went to WDW a few years back & on a cruise and it had less pages than this album! And we were gone 14 days!

But we literally did WDW day and night for 10 days so there were a lot of special moments that deserved attention.

HELP!!!! HELP!!!!!

The Tink album is post bound, right? You can extend those pretty well and easily - I have one book (DD's baby book) that has 38 separate pages in it - so, 76 layouts? It's a tiny bit loose - but it still works fine.

Well... assuming that you have tried to expand this WDW album and you can't, I only see two options left. The first is to make the Tinkerbell album "chapter one" and use a plain album as "chapter two". The second option would be to ditch the Tinkerbell album (save it for another time or get rid of it??) and use two plain coordinating albums or one album that expands large enough. My only other thought would be to kind of "Frankenstein" your Tinkerbell album.... see if you could remove the cover and use it as the cover of a larger or expandable album. That way you would still have the cover design you like and you could make it large enough. Personally, I don't get terribly hung-up on what my album covers are like. Mine are ALL plain colors and they don't even all match! I figure over time the covers will probably get beat up and need to be replaced anyhow (I already have to replace a few that I overfill and they split). Sorry I can't be more help..............P

Thanks for the replies. Guess I should have said that it is expandable and post bound. I already expanded it with one set of posts and 4 spacers. Can I do another set of posts and more spacers? Will it look silly?

OK, I opted to rip the book apart and add 20 more pages. So total in this book is 75. I have 19 more layouts. Oh dear. It's going to be poofy and kind of dorky when closed but it lays flat when you are looking at it.

It was really hard to get the screws back in.

You could always use zip ties(black of course- to match the Mickey album:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ) to hold it together like my first WDW trip album. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Can I tell you how crazy and big that book is!!! It has its own bag type holder- because I'm afraid if I put it on my bookshelf with the others, it will fall apart.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Put enough post extenders in so you can put cardboard (or foam strips)spacers in the spine to make the spine as thick as the pages are. pack on the spacers until it fits tight when you screw the ends on, then it won't wobble.

My Oregon book has 46 double pages. It's big but not wobbly. I drilled a third hole in the middle. Oh, and it's book one and I'll have a second with the same amount of pages. Special trips deserve special treatment.
