too late to change?

So i just mailed in my singed contract and deposit.
and im having last minute jitters! I always pictured our reception outside.. but i had decided on LSS out of fear of the weather.. but now im thinking I made the wrong decision..
Do you guys know if its too late to change it?
and also do they serve dinner food at any of the outside locations? like french lower or italy isola for example? and i know you cant have a dj untill the park closes, but what about string quartet or a cd player even??

It's never too late to change! They just send you an amended copy of the contract after they make the changes. We changed our date.

Also, I have heard of people having dinners at the dessert party locations - I think it may have to be buffet, though.

I don't know too many logistics about food but I do know the answer to your music question. We are having our pre reception at the Italy Isola and I asked if we could have the string quartet because we are using them at the ceremony and there is a 3 hour minimum. I was told that we could but that the Epcot background music will still be on. HTH

oooh that would be so nice if you could have your reception at one of the DP locations!!!

I'm sure that you would be able to bring your ipod or cd player for music!!

We had the same conteplations as you - and asked the magnificent Joe about music and we were told that a DJ or any amplified music wasn't allowed until after park hours.

I was worried about LSS but I've heard nothing but great things, so I'm now actually looking forward to it.

I always pictured my reception outdoors too. I know the weather is a huge concern but we really do have a lot of beautiful rain free days here in Orlando I went with the outside location but the LSS is my backup so at least I know I'll have a great backup space. It's not too late to change. If you're having doubts, get in touch with your coordinator.Good luck with your decision!

We had ours at LSS and I always wanted mine outside to. My original plan was Italy or France and I toyed with the idea over a few months and we decided in the end it was a safer bet to have it inside (this was September) and I was not disappointed with my decision. I was glad the few days before we chose inside as I don't think we would of been able to stand the heat outside it was extremely warm.

We were in Orlando for 5 weeks in total and the only day it rained in that entire time was our wedding day! So thank god we decided to go with the LSS. Our CH was supposed to be at the summerhouse and they moved that to the Whitehall room although it didn't rain until several hours later, needless to say we got a little wet at the DP (we had our deserts in the Lss and went our to watch the fireworks)

Is your pre-reception in the morning right after the wedding?? I am getting married in the courtyard of Italy and it would be so cool to have a pre-reception there as many of the people in family pics will have to stay behind anyway!!

Our pre reception will be at about 8:30p.m. Our ceremony is at the Wedding Pavilion so our guests will be bussed over there after it, then our reception will be in the American Adventure Rotunda. Not sure about morning weddings though. It might be possible!

No, they are not. We are using a string quartet for our pre reception in Italy.

Ohhh, that sucks! My SM is the one who said I could do it. I printed that email and if I get slack I will be showing it to them.

I would ask the planner when you get assigned. We just sent our contract about a week and a half ago and we have already had a planner for a few days.

I am not sure what the back up is... that is a good question. That has got to be the one thing stressing me out the most - the weather!!!

Who was your sm? I have bill barchik hes very nice, im just hopeing hes wrong about the music.. i really want an outdoor reception.. but i dont want to wait for music untill after 10.
