Too late to change dates with 40% off code?

Yes, our code had to be used by March 31st. We'll still go, we just would have added and extra day or two. We may just stay off site first and last nights there. It would be easier to just stay at a value the whole time though. We will keep trying and see if we get lucky.
Did you talk to a CM or guest services?

Can I ask you all about the code you are talking about that has to be used by the end of March? Did you just get it or is this an old promotion? We are going early in March 2009 and would love a discount code. I haven't received anything yet that is valid beyond September.

I received it back in Jan and it had to be used by the end of March. Disney is sending out codes like this all the time though, so don't give up hope. Make sure disney has your correct email address on file, as this is how we got the code, via email. I think it also helps to call and get a price quote from disney, as this is what we did and then we got a code after we didn't book it. Hope this helps!

What happens if you book the dates? Are you less likely to get a code? I just booked our five nights! Should I cancel and wait?

If you've already booked I don't think you'd get a personal code, but you might still have some luck with the general public code that comes out for your month. When are you going?

I think this is very unusual, but I received a code while I was booked with another code. And yes, it came to the same email address as the reservation.

So truly, don't give up hope.

I wonder if I would have more luck trying to change my contemporary reservation which is a package for Oct.21-26 to a package at Pop for Oct.19-26 or adding nights to my room only reservation at Pop, which is currently Oct.19-21 and changing it to a package?

Which way do you think I would be more likely to be able to keep my 40% code?

I would keep what you have. That way you have what you want anyway just in case no discounts get released.

We booked the Bounceback Free Dining last September for the is coming September 2008. Since booking, I have received 2 of the 40% Off emails and then later on a 30% Off email. LOL So it didn't matter that I was already booked on a Promo. First time that I got all these discount offers!! :goodvibes

This whole pin code thing is such a game...they have us going crazy! :confused3 I think I will just keep what I have booked and wait it out ....the 2009 rates aren't even out yet! But at least I have what we want and hopefully we'll get some price adjustments as time goes on.

2 weeks ago, I cancelled our AKL room for 2 nites and just added to our rooms at POR. The CM cancelled our ressie's that were paid in full. It was on my credit card in 3 days. Then she added the 2 nites to my POR ressie with the 40% off code. I didn't have to pay for them yet, since I had the other 4 nites payed for. I was waiting for the AKL ressie to credit and now I am going to call and pay.

But, I'm from Wisconsin, and it looks like my airline (Midwest) is going to cancel my flight or go bankrupt. So I may be out of my money for airline tickets and we may end up driving, or try to find something out of O'Hare.

Cancel now and get a refund. Since you paid with a credit/debit card, if the airline is unwilling to give you your money back, dispute the purchase. Since you haven't used the tickets, you can dispute the items. It's much harder to dispute an item once it has been used such as airline tix. I work for one of the biggest banks in the world and deal with this all day. Do it now before they go under.

We got our Pin Code at the end of Dec and booked the Poly for a weekend in Aug 22-24 at $202 a night including tax. I just called today to see if they have any water or castle view units open and they do, I was shocked. It would cost $135 more for the water and $190 more for the castle.

Part of me wants to go for it but the other part of me is telling me to save the money and put it towards our Oct trip....

Did you talk to a CM or Guest Services? If a CM, did you happen to catch their name? It seems like everyone is having different experiences with this. Some have been able to change and some have not. I think it depends on what they have left. I'm just afraid that since we'll be downgrading and will need to do it for two rooms, that they won't want to do it. :scared:

Were you told no go because no rooms were available or because they wouldn't let you change resorts with the code? I guess I was just hoping that some rooms were still available at Pop during that time with the code.

I am at Pop now, I wanted to move over to a moderate and was told that there were no more rooms available and also that my code has now expired and there would be no more rooms available

Is that per night? I would save the money if it is! WOW, $202 per night for Poly is great! I really wish I would have acted on the code I received this past winter. We were just going to use DVC points for our stay, but now have decided to add 2 nights to the beginning of our trip and stay in non-DVC on cash. Poly for that price would be fabulous.

Yes that is per night. I called this morning and upgraded us to a MK view, requested 3rd floor Tahiti building...only cost me $135 more total...that is what the CM said and that is what my confirmation says...I am so excited because if it wasnt for the code we never would have spent the money on a MK Poly room

Midwest Airline tickets discussion.

Can I do this? I bought a e-ticket online on the Midwest Airline Web page. It is a non-refundable ticket.
