We are going to WDW and staying at CBR 8/29-9/5.

Today I got some bright idea to try to go 2 days earlier with the codes and stay at ALM for 2 nights before and buy 5 extra one way tickets for an additional $297. instead of trying to change my exisiting reservaion which would cost $500. We wouldn't get there til around 6-7 on the 27th and really would gain 1 extra day.

Is it worth it? I think maybe I should try to be patient instead of greedy?:confused3

What would you do. I don't have a ton of money to waste I am just overly excited.:yay:

Well, it just really depends on the individual. If one extra full day at WDW is worth $297 to you, then I would say go for it. One question I would have is that $297 also including park tickets? Because that is another additional expense.

If it was me, I would not do it.

Would it be easier to simply extend the vacation at the end? I mean, if you really want to stay longer, simply extend it. If it's a $$$ issue, then just be patient.

Are your current plane tickets round trip or 2 one-ways? If they're round trip you MUST use the first leg of the ticket (going to Orlando) or the return will be cancelled...... at that point the $500 to change the tickets may be less expensive.

Thanks to the last poster I never knew they could they could cancel
your return flight I would have been in for a surprise when I called about changing and told the reservationist I could just get one way tickets and use the other for returning home she didn't mention that (although she was speaking all that clearly either.:scared1:
