Too goog to be true. Computer error on rental car?

I have to assume the deal I booked was a computer error? No way I could get this low. Question is, will it be honored?

Been running and re-running my rates and dates. June 19th into Sanford at 9:30 PM, June 30th out of PIE (St. Pete) at about 4 PM. Need mini van only, as we have a wheelchair, 4 adults, 2 car seats, and a double stroller. I had Vroom Vroom code booked at abot $470 all in and was content. Then I check carrentalsavers.com two days ago and BOOM, $174 all in for a mini can via Enterprise for 11 days! $67 a week plus $12 for extra days or something like that? :confused3 I booked. I called Enterprise to link my Enterprise Account number. She linked it. Iasked the ressie lady to confirm everything, which she did on phone. Her only comment was, wow, you got an excellenr rate, sir. She sent a confirmation to me email address.

I just checked agian and the same rate nearly $1000 all in? :confused3

So, I guess I should keep Vroom Vroom and the carrentalsavers.com rate? Use Vroom if the Carrentalsavers is rejected for beuing too low/computer error? I can't alter my Vroom Vroom code later without a re-rate, which would bump me UP. Alamo has my Cred Card info. Will they charge me if I call after my pick up time to cancel?
 
Read the fine print... Usually if you do not cancel 24 hours before pick up you will be charged something. I've personally never been charged since I book with our corp discount and we do not provide credit card info until pick up.

If they accepted ur ressie they have to honor it. Print ur confirmation showing price with all included taxes and fees.
 
My aunt ended up with a rate of $10 a day out of MCO. Even the rental employee was shocked but not rude. Just laughed and said she got a great rate.
 
So if I got this, they MUSt honor it???

Since you called to confirm the rate, and this is the confirmation they sent you, then yes; they must honor it. As a previous poster said, make sure to take a print out of your confirmation with you when you pick up the vehicle.
 
Great Rate!

WIth the confirmation I would think you should be safe. I would definitely use a credit card (not debit which I know most people don't use for car rental) in the unlikely scenerio that you need to dispute the charge.
 
I agree...print a copy to have on hand at the counter. I've had situations(not with a car) that required my copy to honour a price.

Last July I had a 13 day rental that was $131 all in....so good rates do happen.

They don't have to honor it, and if it's a mistake of a $1,000 I doubt they would. Sounds like it's an actual rate though and I don't think you'll have any problems with it.

WRONG. They are not required to honor mistake rates, which sometime happen. They might, but do not count on it. I do not know if the OP's rate is an error or not.
 
It sounds like a legit rate. One way rentals can sometimes be much more expensive or much less expensive then you'd expect. The computer says they have too many mini-vans at Sanford and not enough at St Pete and you wind up with a great rate.

We know the Vroom code isn't valid, even though Alamo's computers haven't been updated.

This rate isn't low enough to be an obvious mistake rate
