Too Good To Be True ??? - Unlimited Fastpass

I dont think theres anything wrong with it, when we last went me and my brother would use our parents AP's to get 2 FP's each at a time for the big thrill rides they didnt want to go on. I'm bidding at the moment on some, although I dont mind queuing to be honest.

just do confirm this, do old park tickets still work in the fast pass machines?

Thanks I feel a bit better about using them now. :goodvibes When I first bought them there was only 1 seller, and they actually did seem rare, whereas now there seems to be a quite a few sellers on ebay. Just a thought, what if everybody bought these, and if they are lifetime passes, and they keep using them, maybe the fastpass queue will end up being longer than the normal queue! :rotfl:

I honestly don't think that you'd get through an FP queue more than twice in the half hour slot, or if it was so quiet that you could, you wouldn't need the FP anyway, to take any more would be a waste and with a capped amount of FP's being released per day, would spoil it for others, so I suppose you just have to hope that others with these Unlimited FP's or expired tickets exhibit a little restraint and don't get too greedy. :)

"We headed straight for Buzz, as we've not ridden it before, got to Discoveryland for rope drop and straight onto Buzz twice, it is a fantastic attraction, we're all addicted to it, although my scores didn't come anywhere near the boys' ones. After 2 goes a queue was starting to form so we decided to get Fastpasses and come back later and I have a confession to make, you know how a while ago we talked about using old tickets to get FP's well I took 3 of ours from last year, and no alarms went off and I didn't get a tap on the shoulder and an escort out of the park, but I did feel a bit naughty doing it."

Oh i had never realized such a thing existed but i have had a look around Ebay and you can find a few of those, some from France too and i wonder *are they real* and as one seller is offering a lot of 10 or 12 could they just be used ten time or without any limit???

The price is pretty low :confused3

Hi :goodvibes
has anyone used their old annual passports to get an additional fp ticket.

I must admit I would not like to get caught by a CM doing something I shouldnot :rolleyes1 however I would rather be caught with an official expired card than a card from an unexplained source.

These ebay tickets look good:) however there is one seller selling great amounts, can they all be valid and work:confused3 and will disney catch on sooner rather than later.

Didn't realise that you could use old tickets. They had this glitch in the WDW system soon after it was introduced but when they became wise to it they changed the system to allow you to only use the ticket that you had used for that day's admission. I would have thought they would have modified the system at DLP also but some people have said they were able to use old tickets so maybe thay haven't :confused3

I can sign this. Even on quiter days you have to wait at least 5 minutes in the FP line. And then you need about 5 minutes for the ride and another 5 minutes to get to FP entrance again.
And during bussier days you can easily need 35 minutes to ride a ride even with FP. That can happen on SM2, BTM and Buzz.

To answer a few questions that have come up on this thread, The tickets selling on the french site at a very low cost states that the tickets will only work once. I asked the seller I bought from, why they did not have an expiry, and they said it was because (their family member who works there) was able to activate them and leave of the expiry. So i suspect unless you buy these type then they will expire. I would not buy them from anybody who cannot explain where they came from, or who had negative or no feedback. :thumbsup2

I just thought I would add my comment here as I read all the comments here before I used these fastpasses. I bought them off ebay....10 of them, and as they only cost £30, I thought I would take the risk.

We went last week and the passes worked fine. The seller even let me pick them up form her house. She told me that the passes were the ones given out with the annual passes a few years. She also said she was ex-crew so picked up, quite literally, hundreds of these before leaving her job. So I suppose they are technically stolen items.

I don't know if they will be lifetime, or if they'll stop working within a year (as they are given out with annual passes). I don't even know if they'll work on a second visit as we only used them on the one day with a visit to both parks.

For approx. £3 a fastpass, I suppose it would be worth it, however, when we went, there weren't great queues anywhere in the park, so weren't really necessary. By the way, I bought the ones which showed the actual picture of the grey pass on ebay. I wouldn't buy the ones where there is no picture of the actual pass, and now, having bought them once, I suppose if I were to re-buy some, I would want a picture of the back as well. As I don't know if the ones I have will work on a second visit, I think I'll buy another set before we re-visit the parks (but only if we go at a busy time).

I read a comment by WDW crew regarding these on Yahoo, so added my experience there too, but my summary is: I wouldn't buy them if I were going at a quiet time....they are perhaps useful during holidays, however, at busy times, by midday, often, all the fastpass times have already been allocated for the whole day....so is it worth it? I hope these comments help......and no, I'm not related to the seller!

you get given those tickets if your entrance tickets wont go through the reader at the gate. we didnt have to go to city hall,we were given ours there and then, then when leaving the park we went to city hall and explained about our ticket not going through the reader and they gave us a replacement hopper ticket.Still got all the tickets and they still work (did last year one year after issue. They cost nothing so i suppose selling them is a bit cheeky but what the hey,if theres a market.:confused3

Hi ShantNWcubed and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Not really sure I want to hang out on a board with so many fraudsters....:lmao:

Seriously though - the parc tickets cannot be resold or used on a different day - it says so on the back. I know they are not being used for parc entry, but using in the FP machines surely shows "an intent to deceive to gain an unjust advantage" i.e. fraud...

However, actual FastPass tickets contain no such wording..... don't know about the ones you are given at the turnstile....
