Too early?

New to this board ,but looks like some great info here. With all your vast wisdom Is it too early to find discounts on Disney accomodations for Easter week? Or do they ever discount that time of year?I live to plan vacations!

Rella, I would like to Welcome you to the DIS!
Easter Week - well, TRADITIONALLY that has been a VERY difficult time to get discounts. But with the state of our country, the economy, and the travel industry right now - WHO KNOWS???
I think that I would take a book a room only - just to have one - and then watch these boards (at least this one and the Resorts Board) carefully to see if any discounts come up for the type of resort are looking for. You can then ask that the discount be applied to your already existing reservation, or cancel and rebook at the lower price.
