I would love to take a mid-December cruise to celebrate my husband's birthday, but I am a little worried it would be too cool to enjoy the beach, ocean and pools. Anyone have any experience/opinions they could share?

Thank you!:D

Perhaps you should bring DH along to celebrate as well...

I cruised the 4-night in January 2001 and the weather was GORGEOUS! We were coming from Maine though so anything over 30 was tropical!;) Actually it was lovely, low 80's I think.

We were on the Dec. 15, 2002, 4-night Wonder cruise. It was cold and windy during the sailaway party (December 2002 was an unusually cold and rainy month for Orlando) and was also cool and windy in Nassau. It was overcast all day at Castaway Cay and the water was very cold. Even my husband, who loves cold weather, said the water was too cold for him (although it didn't bother our three yr. old, but I think all kids are oblivious to cold weather when there's a pool or beach involved!).
