Can you request to dine outside on the terrace or is it just luck of the draw? Looks like it would be a neat place to watch Spectromagic.

We have eaten at Tony's every single trip for lunch and always have requested to sit in the patio room and never had a problem. This past trip when we made our ADR for dinner there the CM told us we were not allowed to make special requests upon checking in (we hadn't even asked on the phone, we usually wait until we check in). I don't know if this is an all of the time thing (we ate there for lunch during the same trip and weren't told no special requests then) or if they have had too many people holding up tables at Tony's to watch Spectro.

We went there for the first time in March, had a 2:45pm ADR and asked to be seated outside. We only had to wait about 5 minutes before they had a table ready for us outdoors. We were able to watch the 3pm parade while eating our lunch (we were up by the rail also). My DH loved that so much that for our December trip we made another 2:40pm ADR so we can sit outside and watch the parade again.

We have always asked to sit out there and have been seated out there no problem, they are not supposed to take special requests but i think it depends on the cast member really...never hurts to ask!
